Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I was driving through town and wanted a burger.
Now expecting much I pulled into this wataburger.
I was very pleasantly surprised. Not to suggest that the employees at all Wataburgers aren’t always pleasant and nice, but I thought these guys and gals were even a step up beyond that norm. Very helpful and friendly.
And the place is immaculate.

The nicest waterburger I’ve ever been too! Staff very nice, they all seemed to really love working together. They were singing ( only a couple lines to the radio), and I said that’s nice. She smiled and said they have had a hard couple of days, so I’m glad to hear them so happy.!! Food was good. Place was clean. 5 stars.

The guy taking our order was very friendly. However, it took so long to get our hamburger and fries. And we were not given any napkins or ketchup in the drive through. It was 2:00 pm so it wasn’t even crowded, but it took 20 minutes of sitting in our car to get our food.

NORMALLY I rate this WhataBurger much much higher. Today was disappointing…really disappointing. I didn’t have a difficult order…2 Jr meals, no condiments. Order 514074. Order was placed at 5:03PM. It takes 7 minutes to get home. I got home at 5:21 so prep for this Order was about 8 minutes. The food was mostly cold. Please don’t fall to McDonald’s standards.

Martin made our drive thru ordering experience so pleasant! He answered everything with “Absolutely” and was very helpful and patient with us. We’re coming from Austin and you don’t get much of the same treatment in the big city. His service was just SO refreshing!

Another great experience. Stop by here pretty regularly on road trips, and again just finished a visit. Restrooms were very clean, staff was very friendly and efficient, and dang, my burger was fresh and assembled really well.

Good food, good service, and they’re always busy, so obviously the locals like them. Staff is gracious and on top of things.
However, they’ve got a fly problem. Been here 7 or 8 times now, and there’s always flies buzzing and dive bombing.

This Whataburger is an embarrassment to the chain. Walked in for breakfast and nobody was working the counter. There was another guy waiting in front of me. Waited around and left. If they can’t staff the dining room, they shouldn’t open it. I won’t be back.

This place is an absolute joke every single time I come here they screw up an order. Tonight I come in it’s literally 10:56pm to order a breakfast taco and was told come back in 4 minutes that they were not prepared. Are you kidding me 4 minutes hell by the time it would take to order the meal it would have taken 4 minutes and I still would have had to wait 10+ minutes to even get the food. No worries went across the street to McDonald’s that had me food in less than 3 minutes. Will not be returning to this place.
