It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I placed an order through the mobile app. I parked in mobile pickup in front of the store. I waited 15 minutes before calling the store to see if they were notified via the app that I had arrived. At this time, the drive thru wasn’t busy, I waited another 5 minutes before I just walked into the store to get my food and drink. The salad wasn’t full l, pics to show. The salad cost about $11.

My Husband had picked up two burgers the other day, on my burger there was nothing just some two over cooked burger patties, who by the way looked disgusting on some old bread. We didn’t eat anything it was to nasty, I’m a Professional Cook, and I have never seen such shit. We put the food in a food sealed Package and send it off to the State Food-inspectors. And I made picks of it, on Social Media. We got over 18.000 and more Views. A lots of People where so mad about it, to even sale something that looks worse than dog food.

i went through the drive thru around 9:30 tonight. i ordered a patty melt meal with spicy ketchup. the guy that was wearing gloves came to the window, didn’t say “hello” just said “you had the… wait hold up”. shuts the window. then the female manager said “i need you to park upfront”. not telling me what their waiting on. so i pulled forward. got my food a couple minutes later then drove home. not only that they forgot my spicy ketchup but they gave me a whole different burger. i drove back 15 minutes and went inside. took about 10 minutes for a manager to notice while there were other employees saw me standing there with a bag in my hand. the male manager that helped me was nice. he apologized and everything but it’s like you only replaced the burger? didn’t ask if i wanted something for coming back or anything..

Honestly only writing a review because I frequently visit this store and the last 2 times I went my sprite was flat. Today I got a 2 Dr Peppers and again their syrup is out. I learned my lesson not to try it before leaving. Eating the food without a drink just dampers the whole experience. Staff is super friendly though.

I went to get a breakfast bowl combo at 5am in the morning. The sausage was not hot. The hashbrown sticks were extremely soggy and soft.the tell tell was that the hasbrowns out of the bowl where warm and not hot. This means that they were not fresh to order and had been in the bowl a long time. The eggs were the worst part with them being old and almost burnt like. Biscuit wasn’t fresh. It almost seemed like they threw cheese on bowl and microwaved it or heated it maybe it was prepped and sitting under a warmer a long time. I now feel sick what a waste of money I knew I should have stayed home and cooked. It’s just sad how lazy and worthless these employees can be taking no pride but shortcuts on pre-cooking food and pretending like you’re waiting for fresh food. I was the only one in line at the time. Do not go to this whataburger when there is no line of cars you will be disappointed with old food. I also told lady at window that my Fanta red was pink and not red, she seemed a little annoyed but traded it out for a flat bargs root beer too that didn’t taste as bad but I just left hoping to enjoy my food until I opened it. From now on I will be going inside at all times to watch my food being prepared at this whataburger. I probably need to start driving further to the other one.

Drive thru was courteous BUT you might have to let them know its a modified . Husband tried to tell her how we wanted it & kept being interrupted over and over. It was like she was in a race to beat the other lane . Window cashier was nice. Receipt order looked good but were not right. We still enjoyed the nicely made burgers. Fries, but a fan.

Whoever is working the morning or overnight shift needs to be replaced 30 MINS for One burger
They clearly don’t know what they are doing and need to be retrained . Big ash and can’t “fast food” properly . Smh

I do not understand why the employees feel that music at 8 o’clock in the morning has to be loud, annoying and very poorly chosen. People do not come to Hear music while eating breakfast. But it not only ties to breakfast I’ve been to too many restaurants at all times of the day and sometimes you can’t even have a decent conversation because of the music. Please, turn it down!
The reason that we come to a restaurant is to enjoy the experience of the food and the atmosphere. It’s meant to be customer centric… Not employee centric.
