Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

It’s a whataburger so you know what to expect. My son wanted to stop on the way to grandmas house because he spotted the roof that went all the way to the ground. I told him we would stop on the way back. We had a great time checking out the roof and getting some onion rings.

I don’t know who put together order #339924 on 11/10/25 around 5:25pm, but it was a perfect burger. It was not crushed, everything was placed neatly the veggies and meat. Perfect amount of mustard and ketchup. The fries were warm. I wish I could Ave taken a pic. Thank you!

I ended up going to this Whataburger having a bad experience at a nearby Jack in The Box and the contrast between the 2 places is astounding. I got what I needed quickly, the food was good and the customer service was great. Keep up the great work Whataburger.

I ordered a double cheese burger to go and once I got home it was only a single meat and that’s not even the first time it happened last month I also ordered a chicken sandwich and once I arrived home there was nothing in the sandwich. Another thing to mention is the inside is completely empty and you have to wait about 10 minutes until an employee actually helps you. Meanwhile there’s like 6 employees in the back doing nothing but talking and when they actually come to serve you they are extremely rude and disrespectful. Just a tip always check your food before you leave this whataburger.

Great on the customer service. But let me tell you I tried the chili cheese double meat and it was YUMMY. If you like frito pie you’ll love this burger. Don’t forget it does have onions, so you will have onion breathe the entire day. Other than that it was good.
