Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Don’t waste your time or money. Second time I’ve been here and they are 100%on giving me the wrong order through the drive thru. What’s the point of asking my name when ordering if you’re going to give me the wrong bag anyway?

Absolute worst experience! 30 minutes waiting. They did not take the order correctly. Came out to my car several times just to see what I ordered. They did not ring in half of my order up. Brought the half out that they did not ring in the first time and asked if I ever got the first half. I did not. No apologies.

I deliver for Door Dash. When I walked into the store I told the lady working I had a Door Dash order gave her the name and she turned around took 2 steps and screams “DOOR DASH FOR(customer name)” . That is unprofessional and it’s definitely not pleasant for customers eating in the restaurant. I understand people have bad days or things going on in life, we all do. However when bad days or things happen and we go to work we should still do our best at our job.

He made me and my boy feel as though we were truly a part of the Whataburger family.

If you’re looking for a truly down to earth dining experience, then look no further.

From the conversations with the cashier, to the cooks sweating it up in the back, this rag tag group of workers found a way to turn this 3 star establishment into a 5 star.

Waited in line for awhile and was looking forward to a warm meal but unfortunately the food was like warm at best. The fries were old and seem like they had been sitting there awhile. I understand it was late at night but the place is 24/7.

Alright. Life long whataburger fan and hate leaving bad reviews.

1. Misheard my name, understandable. Totally understandable. Drivethrough mics kinda suck.
2. I know I said large meal, got to the window and they had mediums on the receipt. Ended up paying a few dollars extra to get the large drinks. No worries.
3. Large fries on the receipt, medium in the bag. Not a huge issue, had to go inside to get it fixed. All was well.
4. Got home and the fries are kinda limp little soggy ish. Not cool. Not mad but not cool.
5. Burger quality is pretty bad, I ordered a bacon wrangler and im not sure what kinda burger I got.

All in all…everyone was pretty nice. But yall are failing pretty bad right now. I can definitely notice a big difference from a year or two ago. I dont think I’ve ever been to a whataburger that misstepped every part of my order until tonight. Check out the next closest one on Davis i think. They’ve got it going on. I actually just threw away mine and my wife’s food and am about to head that way.

Skip this location. Just waited 20 minutes in curbside for my food. Another car pulls up, they get their food in less than 5 minutes. Finally receive my food and its literally cold now. This is the second time this has happened and it won’t happen ever again. Done with this location.

Location closest to home. Take out order by app! Always give them extra time compared to what the app gives. Always end up waiting an extra 5-10. It’s fast food. I get it things happen. Food was walked out by Employee with pants halfway down his legs! Wait is the same during lunch rush or 4pm early dinner.

Wait for 20 minutes at the white line after paying, received a Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich that was made from old, hard chicken that was definitely left in the heater tray instead of receiving fresh strips. I would understand the wait a lot more if I could receive a fresh meal and not feel like I had my time wasted and appetite ruined.

Gotta love this location. Beacon of happiness on a Friday night during the winter ICE storm weekend. Line was none stop around the building (drive thru only) but the service was really quick. Loved the greeter after you got your meal.
