Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

⚠️ SERVED RAW CHICKEN⚠️
Me and my fiancé came here today 12/16/2025 at 3:15PM we went through the drive through and I ordered a bbq chicken sandwich he ordered food as well. They had us pull up we waited 12 minutes while they finished making the food. We got our food headed home 5 minutes away and started eating. Little did I know my chicken was RAW I didn’t realize till I was eating it and took about 5 bites. Then throwing up. WHO EXPECTS TO BE SERVED RAW CHICKEN. !!! Anyways I took my sandwich back to the whataburger showed Brandon the GM and he gave me a refund. He offered to remake it but since I have thrown up and starting feeling ill I declined. He let me know someone will reach out to me but no one has yet and this is serious!! To say the least I’m now at urgent care at 6:12PM Because I’m continuing throwing up and more symptoms I won’t disclose. I have attached picture I took at home as well as when I went back to the whataburger. I did NOT need this…. Especially right before the holidays.

Whataburger is my favorite fast food. This specific location is the worst. They have never gotten my order right. Ever. I have them too many tries. Now I drive an additional 10 minutes to a different location. Just be aware and go to a different location if you’re looking to go to a Texas classic. Just hoping this message gets someone to clean up this place for the better.

Came here last night, and man do i regret it. The cashier, didn’t listen too well, and put my order in wrong. Then after i got my food, and got home, i realized that the food i paid for, i didn’t receive. My food was cold when i got home, (i live 4 minutes away from here). Very disappointing. Only good thing about my trip here was that i received my food quick. Dont think ill be coming back to this location.

Whataburger you did it again! Everytime I come to any Whataburger I’m blown away by the service and quality of the food! This location on Precinct Line Rd is no exception. We were greeted as we walked in and an employee promptly took our orders. I wouldn’t even say we waited for our food because the service was so fast I was sat, and filling my belly almost immediately! The staff at this location deserves all the praise!

This Whataburger is consistently slow. Guy who typically worked the window at night usually has an attitude, and I just sat in the drive thru for 40+ minutes with only a handful of vehicles in front of me to be shittily told the system just went down for their daily update and I’m just gonna have to wait longer, then had the window slammed shut.

Well, it’s the time of the year. The whatacatch is back! I ordered as usual, and was a bit disappointed, the fish was hot and fresh, the fries were Luke warm. Although I was disappointed,I vowed to return. After all it’s whataburger, righr? Well I was not able to scan my last two meals as someone other than myself pick my food up. I added in my receipts manually, but did not receive my points for the purchase. This is starting g to happen often with them. I despise having to contacting the chat team for customer service as they are not helpful!

We were a high school band with an order of 170 meals. And we had what we thought was a set time for our food. But mother nature changed our plans with a lightning strike and pushed our meal time back a full hour. Our food was already mostly made, but Brandon the manager really came thru and completely remade our whole order for an hour later and fed our kids hot wonderful food. And even delivered it to us in the crazy bus and semitruck maze that is a band competition. IYKYK. Thank you to Brandon and Crystal and the whole team at this location for saving our day for our kids. They were so excited for their Whataburger after their performance!

Incorrectly wrapped, sloppy, and cold. CHEESE WASN’T EVEN MELTED. Asked, when I got to window I asked if they were ok in there, or if they were being held up?, his reply, no, we are out of a lot of stuff, and it’s making it hard on them. Employees were goofing off when I got to the window. They had the ingredients for my order. However, they lacked any knowledge of customer service or company policies. Let alone bagging. No condiments or napkins. Good money for, Absolutely Nothing.
Won’t be back to this location to waste more time or money.
The sad thing is that a family member has been in hospital since Tuesday, with multiple trips to and from the hospital daily, as well as shifting schedules to accommodate their pets.
I haven’t had much time to eat all week. I not only wanted that burger, but I needed it. I’m going to bed at 12:45, and I’m still hungry. Ugh!

This wataburger is a hit or miss. At some point they did better than the wataburger on pipeline, lately not so much. I get a wataburger and sub the bun for Texas toast. The toast ends up being white bread and not toast. They have been consistently giving me white bread that isn’t toasted. I don’t want to eat a soggy burger. The fries go between being nice and fresh, cold but still crispy, to yeah this has been sitting out for a while mushy. The vanilla shake is good, I wouldn’t recommend the strawberry though. This wataburger also takes foreverrrrrrrrr to get orders out. I will say that the people taking orders are nice, especially a guy with a British accent, he was very friendly.
