Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I had a really great experience today around 4:44 PM (customer number 72). The young woman wearing the red safety vest who took my order was one of the most friendly, professional, and kind people I’ve seen at a fast food restaurant in a long time. She was genuinely warm, patient, and made the whole interaction feel welcoming. You can tell she truly cares about customers. Whataburger is lucky to have someone like her on the team.

Thus was best tasting Whataburger Jr burger I’ve had in 6 months. 1st time eating here and will be back. Fresh soft bun like before the buy-out, just right amount of mustard, and ripe tomato w small (jr) but tasty meat. No pepper available. Thank you.

Every time I’ve been here, it has been very good. Right amount of people to be quick service and food flow to be fresh. Consider it a gem traveling between Waxahachie and Arlington. Fast, easy in, and easy out for good food.
Since I left that review, things have become worse. Management should be flogged. Took over half an hour to get my meal. The hard-working young man claimed the order was lost. No wonder he seemed to be the only hard worker taking care of the order and cleaning tables. When he needed a bathroom break, another worthless worker couldn’t even handle taking orders. Left with limp frys and not even a gratuity item for my very, very poor service. Can no longer recommend this location as I did in my previous review!
Things much better this stop. It appears to be a different manager, so if disappointed on a stop, give them another chance. The really good Whataburger double didn’t stand a chance…

Was greeted with “its going to take 15-20 minutes for your food because we are understaffed, but go ahead with your order.” I didn’t have the time to wait and there were only 2 cars ahead of me at 2:30pm. Would not go back based on that, no telling how the food would be while they’re understaffed.

Ordered through the drive through at 1:50pm and they had me wait at the window until 2:15pm then asked me to pull forward to wait even longer. Still hadn’t received my food at 2:26pm so I went inside just to be told my order hadn’t been started on even though they served multiple cars behind me. Mind you all I ordered was a plain number 1… and they were trying to make me wait even longer to get my food instead of giving me the refund I asked for. 10/10 would NOT recommend going here and they definitely need to be looked into because that’s just embarrassing.

This was my first time trying out this location, and I used the drive-through. From the moment Sarah took my order, everything was great. She was very professional courteous, and she even reminded me that if I had the app on my phone, I could get other savings and points and rewards. The food was freshly cooked, fries were within the normal range and were fresh, it was a very good experience.

We’ve been living in the Bridgewater community for a little over four months, and this is by far the best Whataburger I’ve ever had. We don’t eat fast food very often maybe once a month as a little treat l but every time we’ve come here, the food has been fresh and well-prepared. Compared to other locations, this one hasn’t gone sloppy at all. The quality is consistent, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised each time. I really hope they keep it up!

I placed a pickup order at 10:50, got there at 11:00, and left at 11:30 with no food in hand. They said my order was “misplaced” when my husband went in to check what the holdup was. And then when he went in again to ask about it they were saying “well it’s because it has breakfast items and it’s after 11” so the we still would’ve been there waiting. Mind you we placed the order before 11 and the only reason it was after the time was because they misplaced it. Terrible service, and seemingly glaring incompetence was shown at this location. Whataburger please do better about training your people on how to handle such situations properly to avoid making people late to work and hungry.

I just left church with my two babies who are falling asleep in the car. I hadn’t eaten since yesterday and all I wanted was an avocado burgermeal from Whataburger… I did a mobile order for a pick up inside and unfortunately, since the kids were falling asleep I couldn’t bring them in so the gentleman that was working the drive-through was kind enough to let me go through the drive and not only was he kind but somehow he understood my little struggle… And it may not have been a lot to him because he was probably just doing his job, but I was just so tired and hungry. I know that they were super busy (because it’s literally right after church on a Sunday During lunchtime ) so I wasn’t trying to rush them, but I do appreciate him working with a sense of urgency to get me fed and safe at home with my babies. Thank you!
