Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Pulled up to the drive through but got no response from the speaker. Ended up blocked in so had no choice but to just pull forward after ~5 minutes of no response from the speaker. Then proceeded to ask me to park in the curbside spot and take an additional 30+ minutes to prepare my order. Craziest service I’ve experienced at a whataburger by far. Hopefully this isn’t the norm for y’all.

The sandwich was good, I felt like it needs a little sauce though not sure what. The ingredients feel pretty fresh and the place is clean. The only thing to complain a little bit is that they took quite a while, maybe they were pretty busy but I did think it was a little too long.

I’m bringing my review back up to 5 because I’m no longer having to wait 4 hours in the drive through. That happened about 2 years ago. I spent about 4 hours in a Drive-Thru and the weight was designed I could not get out I spent maybe an hour on other days. The reason I’m giving a five star now is because you all have improved I don’t know if you got rid of the lazy workers or you fired the original management but good job. It’s gotten better again.

I waited at the drive thru speaker for 10 min. No one came over the speaker to take my order. I pulled up and waited behind 2 cars to get to the window. I let the young man know that I waited at the speaker for 10 min. with no one taking my order. He closed the window without saying a word, said something to the girl with the headset on and then opened back up the window said it’s be a min. No apology, No “let me take your order.” I told him.never mind I would go somewhere else. The car behind me laid on their horn at the speaker together them to take their order. Guess I should’ve done that.

Everytime I come here it takes atleast 30 minutes regardless of what I order. Always slow for absolutely no reason I ordered 2 burgers not even meals and I’ve been in like for 27 minutes. Makes no sense at all and to top it off I get cold fries and half cold burgers how do you even have the aptitude to do this.
