Social Profile:

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties.

First I understand this is a new location, however the food took at least 10 minutes to get after ordering, the fries were cold and the hamburger I ordered was supposed to have no tomatoes, however this one had lots and even had a sticker saying to tomatoes, I guess that was a joke.
It would have been better if it at least had lettuce or pickles or anything besides tomatoes!
This is what 10 dollars gets yah, something to throw in the trash

It’s usually fun to stop at a new Whataburger, but this location was a dud. After waiting for my burger it arrived on my table at room temperature—not sizzling hot like a fresh made burger. The newly designed soda machine is so non-intuitive that it took myself and two other customers several minutes to figure it out. The sweet tea was watered down. Just not a good start for a new W location. Good luck—hope things improve as you work through the new store kinks.

We had such a great experience at Whataburger today. The service was genuinely friendly from start to finish.

The manager went above and beyond to accommodate my food restrictions without making it feel like an inconvenience. They were patient, kind, and made sure everything was prepared exactly right. That level of care doesn’t go unnoticed.

And as a bonus, they were incredibly patient with my 8 year old daughter, who had way too much energy and a lot to say! Not once did anyone rush her or seem annoyed — they treated her like she was the most important customer in the place.

Jordan was friendly and welcoming. I was given the wrong order when I picked up through the drive through. When I brought the order back, she had my order bagged and ready with a warm smile and greeting.

One of my best experiences at Whataburger in a few years.

My only complaint about this location is the fact they charge you full price for a cup of water, even if you order a meal. I’ve never been charged for a cup of water at any other whataburger location in the dfw area. Now, I fully understand they need to pay for the cup, but charging full price for the water is nuts. It should not be more than 50cents for the cup. With that said, the workers were really nice and the dining area was clean. Our food was hot and fresh and the manager(or supervisor) named Madison was a top notch experience.

The location and parking space is great. There’s more than one way to exit (you can turn left or right) too. However, service is pretty slow!! Also when husband was ordering breakfast through DT, the cashier told him to turn off his truck because he couldn’t hear. That’s the first time we’ve ever been told that at a drive thru! I was just glad we drove the truck that CAN be turned back on easily otherwise we’d have been stuck holding up the line while we wait for the truck to agree to being cranked back up. lol.

Anyway, we waited a good 20 minutes for our order. And the line steadily piled up behind us. I ordered the Frosted Berry refresher which tasted great, it just wasn’t filled up so I felt like I wasted money on it. My bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with hash sticks were hot and of Whataburger quality so no problems there.

Overall not bad!

We have been here several times since they opened and only 1 small error in the size of a shake we ordered. Our food has always been fresh and hot. We always order on the app and pick up curbside. Tonight it was a total of 7 min from when we pulled in, no errors with our order and it was hot and fresh. This location is MUCH better than the Presidio and the Golden Triangle location any day. The staff has always been pleasant and friendly. Will continue to give them our business.

I love Whataburger and I saw this this location had a lower than normal rating. Well I decided to go since it is close by and wow they made a sweet and spicy burger taste bad.

To start the fries were so unbelievably salty it was nearly inedible and the spicy ketchup that I asked for was not given to me (the most common issue)

Second the onions were clearly not grilled and just thrown on the burger.

They put the sweet and spicy and mustard on the same bun which isn’t the end of the world but still wrong.

For some reason my burger was soggy and and seems like water was put in the sweet and spicy sauce to fill it out.

I will not go back here and I suggest you don’t make the same mistake.

As a food blogger, I would definetly recommend this new location of our beloved Texas fast food chain Whataburger. I was driving down from Durant, OK when I noticed this location being brand new omw to Fulshear, TX. The employees were very friendly, the food came out very quick and was fresh and hot. I got greeted by Operations Partner Madison who was amazing, enthusiastic and welcoming. I have went to plenty of Whataburger’s and have reviewed quite a few but this one was more welcoming and felt more like a family environment. I would definetly be back when I’m crossing DFW again.

The absolute worst Whataburger I have ever been to…. long wait to order as well as get my food, cold fries. I asked to dine in and got a to go bag handed to me at my seat. No condiments got offered, when I went up to ask for them at the counter it seemed as if I was an inconvenience just for asking, after I got my spicy catchup I went to eat my fries and they were cold, not cooled off… flat out cold.
I do not recommend….
