Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Got a burger one time getting off work they messed it up and the guy said they would fix it. He gave me a new burger and I got home and discovered it was just mayonnaise and the patty on there no cheese no nothing and the bun was nasty. This was a while back but I still get angry thinking about it. The world must know about this atrocity.

Outstanding service! The staff at this location are very attentive and courteous! The food is always fresh and well prepared and the resturant is very clean!! This is my favorite Whataburger of the three locations we have in Lufkin. I will drive the extra few miles to eat at this location.

Great burgers and fries with friendly service. Tasty chicken burger on a whole wheat bun with generous portion of chicken, fresh lettuce, tomatoes and special sauce. They are open 24h and the service was friendly and efficient. Our burgers were made to order so there was a few minutes wait but it was sooooo worth it. Can’t wait to go back!

Stopped in for a late supper. I wanted something different, I chose the spicy chicken sandwich and had some jalapeños put on it. I got my mayonnaise put on and started eating. Man did it hit the spot. It was very tasty and had a nice bite to it. One of the girls that worked there told me about it. Glad I took her word for it. The cashier was very friendly.
