Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Horrible customer service. The drive thru line is always so full. The management was rude when I had a mess up order, the guy taking orders was rude. He didn’t even bother to repeat the order and that’s one reason why I’m sure it was wrong. Got my burger wrong, the gravy we got was barely filled up, no ketchup up was given, he charged me .70 extra for 3 pieces of cheese when I only asked for 2, all this while waiting for a long time, you’d thank they would get it right after a 15 min wait. After a long day of work and spending $48 on food you just want some good food and respectful service but no instead the manager didnt care and said to bring the food back and she can only give me another burger and gravy and if I don’t come back that night with the food she can’t help me. Pathetic. Now I’m waiting in another long line, not enjoying my food with my family after waiting all day to eat and on top of that the roads are bad due to icy weather. Waste of my time. Ordered my food at 5:11pm finally got my corrected food at 6:20pm. Wow. Update ; my gravy I got looks like they just filled it up and it’s cold and my burger was cold because all they did was add condiments and veggies and cheese to it that I didn’t ask for and no ketchup still not given after asking for it. Literally PATHETIC. The manager tried to charge me for a fresh fry after she literally ignored me when I ask for one she eventually came back and said it’ll be $3 after driving all the way back. The LEAST you can give is me a free fry.

Never again yall have screwed me over three times now. Your employees are lazy and dont care about running the store. I kept trying cause yall are closest to me but never again. Got left in curb side 20 min. Couldn’t do drive thru as the app wouldnt allow it and I had to mobile order. Then proceeded to ignore me when I came in your store. I was in my pj so thanks for that. And to add a cherry on top u couldn’t in 30 min manage to fill my order correctly.

Every time I go here, they either forget something or they are out of something. They forgot my large fries that I paid extra for this time. And they were out of spicy ketchup. On top of that, they always take forever to get the food out. I dont think I will be back to this location.

Terrible wait! I waited in line for about 25 minutes at 10:45 a.m. for a kids meal and one sandwich. I wish I had been able to leave before I had to pay, but was surrounded by 4 other vehicles. Not worth their expensive food and time. I wont be returning.

Was told the LP is starting to force the workers to charge for waters, not just the larges, but all of them. Completely stupid decision on their end, the only reason I and those around me even get Whataburger is because of the kindness extended through the free waters. You’ll lose a lot of customers this way, especially with how many people just walk around in the area and need water.

The food is good, but the service could be a little better. I ordered a small side of gravy and when I got the bag I didn’t see it. The window worker asked the cook if she put the gravy in the bag. “Yes”. It was not in the bag. Not a huge deal, but just a weird thing to lie about.
Edit: Went back on 12/13/25 and they forgot the gravy again lol.

Service is horrible. They can’t seem to get the order correct. Food is eh. The cheese that was on my burger looked as if it had been sitting out on the counter for several hours. Bread was so soggy. Yall used to be better than this. Now it seems no one at your establishment cares.

Ordered curbside, waited 25 additional minutes after the time the food was supposed to be ready. Went inside to ask why they are not being the food out and they said yes it’s been sitting here that they know of for more than 10 minutes, I ask them to remake the food, they said no, I asked for a refund and the manager was very dismissive about it and not willing to help and said that I need to handle it myself and try to request refund online, asked for help where to accomplish that on their app and was told they don’t know how to show me to complete the process, what a waste of time and money to go there, definitely don’t recommend any going to that establishment

Placed order in the drive thru, two #1 combo’s with cheese. Once home, the fries were cold and dry, and the cheeseburger had no mustard and onions. This also included wilty hot lettuce. My wife and I threw the food away. Won’t go back!!
