Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I recently visited Whataburger, and overall, it was a great experience. The people who work here are really cool and genuinely funny, which made the visit enjoyable. The food was pretty good, and the restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained. The only issue I had was that every time I asked for the birthday cake shake I paid for, they kept forgetting to bring it out. However, they eventually got it to me, so all was well in the end. Despite that small hiccup, I’d definitely come back. Solid 4-star experience!

Waited 30+ minutes for my food and I was served what is pictured; questionable looking eggs and hashbrowns that were 95% oil and 5% potato. This is no reflection of the staff working the drive through; they seemed to be doing their best. But, whoever was in the kitchen needs to pay a little more attention to the actual quality of the food being served.

Stopped by whataburger for my first time while down in Dallas on a business trip. For a fast food restaurant, the Burgers were amazing. Pretty big and flavourful! Staff were very friendly and helpful. After explaining that I had never been to a whataburger before, they walked me through some of their best sellers and options. I will be making a point of visiting this location every time I am in Dallas again!

I visited this restaurant for the first time in the area. The drink are was not clean and many of the tables were not cleaned. I ordered two number 1’s with cheese. My husband and I waited over 15 minutes on our order. There was also another couple there that had not received their order who was there before us. The order was for here but once the shift leader noticed I had my phone he told the team member to get our order. It was made to go. I took the food out of the bag and tasted my burger and it was nearly cold. My husband’s burger was hot and the fries were hot. The service here could definitely use some improvement. There were many customers who came and there orders were to go and they did not have a long wait before we received our order. I will not return to this location in the future.

So, I ordered my food ahead and dined-in because some of the reviews said the wait was long. I got my food shortly after approaching the counter. This was my first time at this Whataburger, and I have to say that the food was good and my order was filled accurately. That’s all we can ask of Whataburger.

On the receipt the order is correct. But apparently nobody can follow directions because the burger and the drink are both wrong. I ordered A plain whataburger and medium Dr pepper. What do I get? A burger covered in mustard and Pepsi.

There was only one other car there when I ordered in the drive thru. The kid told me to pull forward after paying, I said okay. Few minutes later kid comes to the window, “hey your order is ready”. Okay what do you want me to do??? Bring it to me.

Save your time and money and just go to In-N-Out

Absolutely worst service ever, I placed a mobile order, I walked in waited a good five minutes before being told they would be right with me. They walked away never came back another five minutes. Somebody else comes forward, I see my food waiting on the shelf getting cold, I walk out to my car check my bag realized that they also forgot ketchup for my fries, walked back in waited. Another couple of minutes I said excuse me can somebody please just grab me some ketchup, one person in blue that was tall with glasses literally looked at me, enrolled his eyes, I’m assuming he’s a manager because the color of his shirt, but that was crazy, I normally never write negative reviews, but I’m just never gonna come back to Whataburger not like y’all are so sad to lose my business because clearly you do not care at all that was evident, but there’s way too many burger spots to choose from to be treated Crazy after a 10 hour shift and get some cold fries that I paid for and crazy attitude for no reason, but their job must be so incredibly hard. You can tell by them all being on their phones, including the manager and just gossiping rather than treating the customers.

Good food as most of us to come to expect from Whataburger. My only notch against this visit is the fact that the store was clearly understaffed. However, employees that were there did their best to accommodate me and everybody else in the restaurant so I commend them for that. Taking the fact that they needed more employees on the shift into account, the visit was decent, so I no major complaints or issues.

This is a large order of onion rings. Burnt oil and not even touching the top. I didn’t even say anything just left. Not worth it.
