Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Ordered ahead online, showed up no rush to window and was told that their system is going through an ‘update’. Used a reward for free burger. 5 mins later was told by attendant at window to have told him to let him know what I was there for, poor communication.. food tasted almost as bad. Would not recommend this spot to any passerby’s with other options

My girlfriend ordered a patty melt and when she was almost done eating the sandwich, she came across a big black hair. It was so gross and disgusting. The hair is not hers because she’s blonde. We are very disappointed. We always loved Whataburger but now we are very disappointed with this experience

The service was okay, I ordered the honey butter chicken strip sandwich and it was not hot at all. I had to go back inside and ask for a more fresh one instead. Feel like they can do better with curbside pickups and making sure that everyone food is nice and hot.

I am not one to write bad reviews unless the service is really bad. I was very disappointed with the service I received. I had to wait at least 12-15 minutes for my order, then when I received it the apple pies were horrible. I was wondering why they put 2 apple pies in my order when I only ordered one. I found out quickly that they were trying to make up for the fact that the apple pies were STALE and OVERCOOKED. It seemed like they were trying to make up for the horrible pies by giving me 2 instead of 1. Considering the wait you would think the pies would have been fresh. My order was a BOB and a apple pie. The manager Michelle Walker brought my food out to me and I know for sure that she knew the pies were not fresh. Shame of you Michelle and your crew for such poor service. I won’t be back to that location EVER!

I do not recommend this location everyday they are getting worst… I placed an order online for pick up assuming it would be quicker, well I was wrong. I showed up to pick up my order and waited in the pick up line I finally get to the front and the person that was there never came back. I asked another employee if she could check on my order I told her my name and she just walked through. So I waited and I see her again and asked her did you check on my order and she just ignored me, so I asked her again is my order ready and she just ignored me again. I asked another person working there and told her I had been waiting and the other person was just ignoring me. She said they are making your order right now, I had been waiting for more than 30 minutes and it was 50 minutes since I had placed my order. When I finally receive my food my burger was soggy the buns were soaked and I threw it away. I did not want to even go back to tell them they don’t care anyway why waste my time.

I chose curbside: the food took 17 mins total to be brought out. Called them from the car when I had been waiting 7 minutes. 10 minutes later REALLY! By the time I got home the fries were soggy and the burger cold! Not a service I will use again. 3 strikes and you’re out! Takes just as long or shorter to get fresh hot food through the drive thru!

The food here seems to be fairly consistent, but the service is unbelievably slow. I’ve been here a few times, and on average it takes over 20min to get dinner through the drive through. The dining room isn’t even always open, even at peak times like 7pm. I have literally been here at 7pm and was unable to walk in. One time in the drive through I had to wait over 40min for two meals.

Placed an order online for food on the app said it will be ready at 5:30 I arrived at 5:28 and told the cashier he went to the back and never said a word and started working on someone’s else’s order. My brother asked when they cashier he came back and said can you check our order (this was around 5:40) he said I don’t have anything for you. My brother gave my name and again the cashier didn’t say anything. We asked someone else they said what’s the name again provided my name they said oh it will be a moment give us a few minutes this employee was much nicer.

These beautiful human beings made me the most wonderful double fried egg with bacon patty melt at 3:15am in the morning and I just couldn’t say enough about this spot right here. We got thru the line like a sling shot man. My heart is so full right now it’s absurd. Thank you.
