Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Ordered through drive thru for ONE sandwich, we got told it would be a 7 minute wait and told to wait at the door. To begin with the guy at the window touched his headset, window, AND food with the same exact gloves and that’s honestly so unsanitary. The girl seemed to have nails on which I don’t understand why I thought gunk and bacteria stayed under those fake nails but ok whatever, after we got told to wait 10 minutes passed, then 20 im sorry but they didn’t look nowhere near busy so im not understanding why it was such a long wait, after I had gone inside and my food was SITTING on the counter like yall couldn’t bring it out to me??, this is an unsanitary place and it was my first and last time there.i truly don’t know how it’s still open it looks incredibly dirty but ok.

I have been to many whataburgers and I wasn’t expecting much from this one because of the area (service received from neighboring businesses), but honestly one of the cleaner and most friendly ones I have been to. Dined in and the workers were super polite and friendly. Got all the orders correct and was a great experience. Caliya taking the orders was phenomenal

Came at 357am waiting for my order. Order the breakfast on the bun and they gave me 2 without the meat on it and since im at work already I cant even take it back this is really disappointing since I waited til 415am to finally get my food and it wasnt even right.

I waited 30 minutes and only one car moved. I don’t have that much time, so I turned around and went to McDonald’s. It took me 7 minutes to order and pick up my food. I really like Wataburger, but I don’t have that much time to wait. I’ll continue enjoying their burgers at other locations.

Waited over 20 minutes for my pickup order. The staff here moves very slow and no one here looks like they wanna be here. The young lady on front counter looks so lost, it doesn’t make sense. Whenever I got my order, there was no apology or anything. No communication, no leadership from management. This is the most poorly ran Whataburger, I’ve ever been to. Just horrible

There was a guy name angel he got tattoos The guy was one of the best customer service I seen. He answered my question when I was actually confuse, actually was concerned. He 100% serve more BUT The employer, there I think is the managers are awful to him, but 10/10 for angel thank you angel

It took forty minutes from speaker to driving away from the drive through window for my biscuit and gravy as well as my triple meat burger. The food was hot and delicious but I have not known Whataburger to take so long on orders before, especially since I had only one car in front of me that was already at the window and paid before I pulled up to the speaker. I know now that I need to leave home an hour early just to put in time for Whataburger even if it’s two items. I’m used to the 20 minutes to 10 minutes or when you go up past 30 minutes for a burger and a biscuit and gravy I don’t know how to react to that other then cut back on going so they are not overwhelm.

If I had the chance I’d enter 0 star ratings. I don’t who’s in charge of this exact store but the whole night shift manager and crew needs to all be FIRED. I need to know who’s the corporate manager of this store because they are not doing their job correctly. It shouldn’t take almost an hour in drive thru for some food it’s a FAST FOOD restaurant. Zero excuses if that’s a problem shut this whole store down terrible business. To the store manager of this store why was it a good idea to close DINE IN even for delivery apps such as DoorDash, Uber Eats & mobile orders??? Knowing how long of wait they have to be in drive thru line and hand them over COLD food. I don’t know how this store is in business but something here needs to be investigated. Never again making the whole Whataburger business look BAD.

So walk with me here this may take a while. If there’s any spot I love to get my sandwich is this one right here. I had my “best sandwich ever” moment here so whenever I come towards this spot I’m always excited and expectant. Because I have tried different whataburger spots and I never tend to have the same feeling so you’ll understand when I come into the store all excited and get a really disappointing service from the store manager. This was over their special cups, this may be an issue of old age on my part( just 38 of age), but I know I heard purchasing the special cup means I could refill. Ofcos if it wasn’t a refill I should be informed and corrected but it was the mannerism that just made me feel so let down. You do not talk to your customers that way MAAM. But this is a teachable moment for both of us I think, me dealing with my adulthood better and you doing your best to land your execution better MAAM. I will put this in caps, SHE DID OFFER TO LET ME GET THE FREE REFILL, but sorry my ego took over and I dumped the cup making sure she saw me. But guess what? Still the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I appreciate you for that
