Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This place is the worst. First, they don’t want to bring your food to the table, they yell your name from the kitchen! second, they don’t offer you ketchup, salt. you have to go back to the checkout to ask for everything. third, you open your burger and it’s missing cheeses. This place is a shame. The people who work here don’t even want to live.

Didn’t receive my online order. My husband said when he walked in one of the employees was rude with him saying he was doing too much with two online orders. Then got loud with him and asked someone else to assist him.
I still never received my online order and the total or 3 employees arguing in front of customer is so unprofessional. I would never go to this location or recommend anyone to ago to this unprofessional establishment!!!

Is there a red that I have a bad experience at any restaurant. However I was very disappointed in the way Manager Ms. Rhonda behave and conducted herself amongst not just her staff and other customers. I think there has to be a certain level of professionalism when you hold such stature in any establishment let along calling a grown man baby. It’s important to use the correct terminology when addressing any adult.

Who is the manager here?!? This has to be THE POOREST service at a Whataburger ever..! You’re going to wait at the speaker for all of 10 minutes just to place an order and don’t think you’re getting your food in a timely manner…that’s another 30 minutes! Just a very poorly run store and you can tell the team is completely UNMOTIVATED! I don’t blame them I blame management. You can clearly see nobody is at either window receiving payment. I only come to this one because it’s in the same parking lot as my apartment, but it’s definitely not “convenient.”

No matter what time of day you come here, the service is super slow, and the fries are always cold and rock hard. The food always looks like they shake it around in the bag before they hand it to you.

That banana pudding shake is sooo delicious! It ALMOST taste similar to the banana flavored bomb pop. I love the texture of the shake once it’s frozen too.

Service is a bit inconsistent. I’ve only been a few times, and sometimes they’re fast and the food is fresh and hot, sometimes they’re a little slow, and the fries are going to be a little bit cold. They have been known to run out of ingredients, last time I was in they were completely out of onions. Overall a pretty good spot, if you get them on a good day.

9/5/25 6:35am Friday morning dining room is closed! I specifically went out of my way because I wanted a couple burritos. Don’t have time to wait 15 minutes in the drive through line. Also had to use the restroom. Will NOT be back!!!

First, who ever was taking orders was amazing. He was full of energy and they brought a little joy to my dad. Had to wait in line a little but the food was hot and that is what matters.

My experience at this Whataburger location during the morning hours was very pleasant, food was awesome, restaurant was clean , and the manager Kim was very very helpful, friendly, and respectful. Will be visiting again
