Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

We stopped in here for lunch on our roadtrip (1/17/26) and it was packed, super busy. In spite of that, the restrooms were reasonably clean for the amount of people in the restaurant. The girl at the counter was so nice! She’s actually the reason I decided to leave a review. I was impressed with what I saw of the employees manners and cleanliness while there. The guy that brought the order out even had a hairnet on his beard to protect the food.

I can see why this fast food place has more than four stars. It’s very difficult for a fast food restaurant to maintain a high average of stars due to the type of clientele that have an itchy trigger finger to complain. These guys were fantastic. Right from Jamoyah in the drive-through to Brett, the manager. Extremely professional with a great attitude from beginning to end. I’m certain that they are respective managers know their value, but it’s worth giving them a shout out for sure.

Brought my grandson and his friends here after the movie’s. First time I have been to this Whataburger. Have to give a big thumbs up to all the late night crew!! They were very patient in taking everyone’s order!! A very very clean place, along with the bathrooms, which are a major plus for me!! Thanks guys!!

Once we ordered, the food was literally ready in 3 minutes… Fries were fresh, hot, and crispy and meals freshly prepared. I wish all Whataburgers were like this!

I stopped by this location while traveling towards Lake Conroe. it was a little bit difficult to get to as it was off the freeway but down aside road once off the freeway. We went inside and placed an order for our food. We sat in the restaurant and was approached by a customer asking for money, which was irritating for my spouse as we originally wanted to eat inside the restaurant. The food was just okay as I had ordered something different than usual and wasn’t impressed with my sandwich. The table wasn’t wiped down, but other areas appeared neat.
