Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Walked in, the service was fast. Ordered the month’s special Southern Bacon Burger and banana pudding shake. Both our meals were prepared well. I really enjoyed it. The place was clean, they were busy at the drive-thru.

As I pulled in the drive thru, it was only one car, and I was so excited because in my mind, I knew this would go fast. I ordered a #1 and treated myself to the new “banana pudding” shake! I arrived at the window and waited to receive my order. The young lady was nice, courteous and friendly! I shared my excitement with her to try the new banana pudding shake. She confirmed that I would like it as well as her manager. They waited until I received it and took a sip from my straw.. I was all smiles! That limited time… banana pudding shake with my hot served fries, and the burger was a treat!! This was a great food experience at Whataburger this time – no long line, no long waiting, the person at the window was wearing the right attitude, no error on my order, and everything was yummy!! WAY TO GO!!

Management needs to thoroughly review who was working at the Cedar Hill location on July 4 from 848-920PM. There was no one else waiting in store and drive thru was empty. It took 20, yes, twenty minutes for two combos to be made. Unacceptable. There was at least 5? If not more workers I saw. Was it a cigarette break? Social hour? I don’t know. It left a horrible taste in my mouth, Chick Fil A would never.

Okay so i normally go to the desoto Whataburger but because I work around cedar hill I sometimes stop for a meal here. I’ve always had some sort of issue with my food either my fries size is wrong or my sauce is wrong or like today my chicken strip is tore up and looks disgusting. I’m giving two stars because I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because I to work in food industry but it’s still no excuse that it happends so often. The line wait is also horrible u will have better luck at the desoto whatabugure I’ve never waited 40 minutes there. I always check my food and now drinks because I’ve also gotten those wrong. I guess I now have to make sure my food is intact before leaving.

This by far is the SLOWEST whataburger I’ve ever been to.the food is normally good and Ms Charlene is the sweetest nicest most patient person to work there. I’ve seen this woman at work during ice days, I’ve seen her working the register alone holding down 2 drive through lines. She’s phenomenal and does the best she can! But in regards to everyone else, SLOW SLOW SLOW I only get an hour for lunch and have spent 30 min in line. I just left out the line which has persuaded me to do a review because it’s not just every now and then but all the time. They need more workers or to speed it or or something. What’s the use of calling it fast food when it’s not fast at all

I normally go to the one on Carrier in Grand Prairie. Today 8-7 decided to stop on my way home to this location. Never Again!!!!!! We literally waited in line for an HOUR!!!!!!! There was about 6 cars waiting in line. So if you have nothing going on and don’t mind waiting this is the place to go.

Twice in a row this whataburger exceeded my expectations. Packaging, Clean. Fries, fresh! Burgers, Hot! Service, Patient and Friendly! And not to mention they were actively cleaning the building. I’ve been going to this location for at least a decade now, but as always, good management takes the cake when it comes down to it. Shout out to Latease for her work and the wonderful young man who took my order this night and was working with her. The cooks seemed young as well. I really love to see it. Y’all keep up the good work!
