Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Third time I’ve been through this drive-through ONLY to reverses and leave. There’s absolute no reason why this should be considered fast food if you’re in line for 20 minutes or more and still have 4-5 vehicles ahead of me.

As much as I love whataburgers food, this location is seriously lacking in the service department. I ordered a large fry and drink to go. Simple enough, yet I sat for 30 minutes watching my order on the screen as it constantly got passed over. I saw on two occasions that employees fill a large fry container only dump them back in. I finally had enough when every employee was just standing around doing nothing. I walked up to the counter and asked for a refund, telling them I had been waiting 30 minutes for a simple, large fry. He made no attempt to make things right, just gave me a refund.

The cashier was so sweet. She was clearly exhausted after having worked over 6 days with a short staff. My 8-y-o son told her she was doing a good job and she very kindly gave him an extra cookie, brownie, and graham crackers. Such a nice woman!

Very slow drive thru service. They seem to be short staffed and the quality of food has gone down hill. They seem to struggle getting our order correct.

Got here at 10:50pm, got up to the speaker at 11:15pm, said they’d be with us soon, so we sat and waited… and waited… until eventually at 11:30 I said “Hello?” And the person on the speaker informed us that their systems were down for the drive through and for us to go inside if we wanted to order… ?????? You couldn’t have told us that earlier, or as soon as you knew about the problem? Instead of us having to check if anyone was still there??? Immediately drove away and did NOT go inside to order. Will never waste my time here again. EVER. Train your employees better. The audacity that they apologized after we had to ask if anyone was even on the intercom is appalling because I know they can see the drive through line from inside the building when it wraps all the way around. This is not the first time we’ve had trash service here either. Avoid at all costs.

Went inside, place my order, gentleman came out to me, asked me to be sure of my order. Cuz I had three items for my cheese burger, to be grilled. He made a awesome cheese burger. Hell he made one for himself, to try. He said he love it, I know I love it.

I’ve tried calling 6 times now with no answer. Tried to use a gift card. They said it needed to be activated. I’ve used a part of it already but had enough left to cover the bill so it was activated. That’s fine no big deal. Ordered my burgers with Mayo, pickles, and cheese only. They didn’t include meat on one of my burgers.

Love Pure
The worst!!! I’ve lived in the city 3 years, have visited this location 3 times and everytime there is an issue. A 6-8 minute wait for an order resulted in 45 minutes to correct and get it right, with coaching from myself the customer. Worst thing about it, it was at 2 am and no customers ordering but me. They need to fire everyone and start over
