Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This location is consistently very very slow. If you choose curbside you are often forgot about or it takes 30+ minutes. The food here is almost never fresh. I’m not sure what takes so long, but timing must be an issue. Food must sit getting cold waiting on other food. Our order is never correct. Everyone who has a bad experience with this location should use the contact form on the Whataburger website. Maybe something will change after it’s reported enough.

Never coming back during overnight. I came around 3am and placed an online order and I’m just upset with the fact that I couldn’t get some fresh fries. I honestly made the mistake of letting the person take the fries back and they just placed them in a separate bag and handed them right back to me like it’s okay. I’m pretty sure it was an overnight manager that did this I could tell by the shirt. I just wanted fresh fries I even told the manager I would wait for fresh ones but he didn’t care and my breakfast platter didn’t even have a full scoop of scrambled eggs, they where chunks and were definitely old.

If I could give zero stars I would. I waited 20 min for my food and then NEVER even got it. They didn’t offer me any compensation for sitting there waiting and when I requested a refund I waited another 10 min for someone to come give me my money back. I had to knock on the window to get anyone to even pay attention to my car at the window. Worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant ever. Customer service was all attitude and never got food. I thought Texas was supposed to be all about southern hospitality?

Ordered half lemonade and half tea. Also two ketchups. Not hard. Received full tea and no ketchup. Burger is cold. Good thing it was free reward for burger. Curbside pickup delivery woman looked perturbed and like she swallowed a lemon. I tried spreading cheer but she barely was communicative. I didn’t know my ordered was messed up until after I got to work.

The burger was put together with no care the burger patty was halfway off the bun, burger was cold and I did not get the extra mayo that I requested. Also I asked for onion rings instead of fries but I still almost received fries. The mistake was corrected at the window.
