Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties.

I visit this establishment from time to time and have always been satisfied, this morning is not that same apeace unfortunately.
It started off great, I went to the cashier and asked for a #24 and a #22 and then the cashier said in a rude and frustrating way (bacon or sausage.)
I answered sausage (sorry) the small print is not that visible. She rapidly blinked her eyes and ignored my comment.I then asked her if she was having a good day and she replied are you?
I did not intend to upset this cashier and all I wanted to do was relax and enjoy whataburger bkft before I started my day.
To top that off she gave me my receipt without any eye contact at all.
But after I sat she walked up to a guest that sat 2 tables next to me and asked the customer, hey I’m not a rude person am I.
I am pretty nice to everyone that comes in and he said yes your nice to everyone and proceeded to say there’s a guy 2 tables down that thought I was rude (I never mentioned her rudeness at all ).
I thought that was completely unprofessional but again I did not react.
She brought my food and said any condiments ketchup without any attempt at eye contact at all.i grabbed condiments and she swiftly left.
I don’t know what happened to this employee but I came in at about 7:50 and I am still here having my breakfast.
Maybe I should know what i want to order before I come to the cashier or maybe (just maybe) cashiers should expect to make sure that customers get what they want by asking those questions.
Came in as a whataburger fan in bkft lunch or dinner but this mistreatment of me by a cashier has made me decide on going to another whataburger that is not conveniently 5 min away.
I am very disappointed in the behavior of this whataburger establishment employee she is old enough to know better.

Good service is everything

I was greeted by a friendly voice and every employee after that was very kind. I order via drive thru and ordered promptly. I came at 7pm and waited 25 minutes total in the line from order to picking up my food. I ordered the Sweet N Spicy Bacon burger and unfortunately there was no bacon on it. I showed the employee and they gave me bacon on the side. The burger was good, cause it’s whataburger after all, just quite slow which was interesting considering the short line.

We go to this location often on weekends in the morning before grocery shopping. Meals have been made correctly and tasted fine. They bring us the food pretty quickly. In the mornings the tables are often dirty. From what ive seen on the weekend they have a young lady who works who is always smiling and welcoming. But there is a you can that works that acts like he would rather be anywhere in the world but there taking your order. Never smiles, never welcomes and barley speaks two words. But all in all its a decent experience on weekend mornings.

Avoid this location—save yourself the frustration.
Since this is the closest Whataburger to me, I’ve given it plenty of chances, but I’m officially done. The “Curbside” service is an absolute joke. Every single time I order, I end up sitting in my car for 30 minutes watching the clock.
Eventually, I have to give up and go inside to get the food myself, which completely defeats the purpose of curbside pickup. When you finally do walk in, don’t expect a “hello” or any kind of acknowledgment. The employees are incredibly unfriendly; they don’t greet you, and they act like you’re an inconvenience for asking for the food you already paid for.
If you value your time and want to be treated like a paying customer, drive the extra few miles to a different location. This one isn’t worth the headache.

I’m honestly really disappointed with this Whataburger visit. I waited in line for about 20 minutes just to get to the window, and the girl working there was rude and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. When I finally got my food, they forgot the condiments I asked for. I tried to just let it go, but when I finished my drink and opened the lid to eat the ice, I found a hair in the cup. That was the last straw. Between the long wait, bad attitude, and poor hygiene, I won’t be coming back to this location anytime soon.

They should be getting zero stars. I cannot rate the food because I never got that far. I ordered a #5, #7, and a kids meal combo. When I ordered and pulled up there were only 2 cars including myself in the drive thru. I waited 10 minutes at the window got my drinks and was asked to pull up. After 7 minutes of waiting I noticed people behind me getting multiple items and bags and driving away. I went in to ask what was taking so long and turns out my order was supposedly never made only after I went into the store the manager started yelling for them to make my order. I promptly asked for a refund. They had so many people working but couldn’t get my order out after 30 minutes. Never again!

Read the reviews and was a bit hesitant to stop by…. Let me tell yall, this is by far my 2nd favorite location in the DFW. Yes I do have to “wait” a bit for my food, but guess what? It’s ALWAYS FRESH AND DELICIOUS! the staff is great and my food is delicious 10/10. Maybe the ones who are complaining about “customer service” are just entitled or miserable.

Whataburger may be best known for its juicy burgers and late-night cravings, but don’t sleep on their salads—especially the Cobb Salad. As someone who enjoys fast food but also tries to eat balanced meals, I was genuinely impressed by the quality and flavor packed into this healthy option.

The Whataburger Cobb Salad is a refreshing surprise. It comes loaded with fresh, crisp romaine and grape tomatoes, perfectly grilled chicken, shredded cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and smoky bacon pieces. The ingredients are always fresh, and the portion size is generous enough to be satisfying without leaving you feeling heavy.

Whether you’re looking for a lighter lunch or trying to make a healthier choice without giving up flavor, Whataburger’s Cobb Salad delivers. It’s proof that fast food can be both delicious and nutritious.

This is literally the worst Whataburger experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. My husband and I are huge fans of Whataburger and we frequent a couple of locations each weekend for Sunday breakfast. I took my son to this Whataburger and I ordered a coffee, pancake, breakfast and taquito the coffee carafe was empty and had a expired time stamp of 10:02 am. It was around 10:30 am. I then asked the cashier for coffee from the back. He brought back some coffee that had a interesting taste like French vanilla or something was added. I didn’t drink it. Also it was warm. My taquito I’d asked for a customization of shredded cheddar cheese instead of block cheese buy they put both on. I asked for that to be remade once it was remade there were literally 10 pieces of shredded cheese on it. No one ever came out to check on us when they brought out my son’s pancakes we had to ask for butter and syrup, not provided. They were also out of forks and knives in the lobby so I had to check in again at the cashier area. Again, I totally understand when places are busy, but this was truly the absolute worst Whataburger experience I’ve ever had. I will never go back here. I plan on contacting Kayla Jacinto the operating manager.

I just got from this location minutes ago. I find that the food here is usually pretty good, sometimes elite. One problem, the service. I always order curbside in the app only to get there, wait outside for 10-20 extra minutes and go inside to see my order in there having gone cold. Strangely enough it says curbside on there, but they side it with the takeout food. At which point it’s gotten cold. This is the 4th time this has happen in a row over the course of several months.

Now, I don’t have this problem at the Whataburger on S. Collins. I used to not have this problem at this location. But this is a consistent problem.
