Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Shout out to this location for being n open during the snow and ice storm! Walked in ordered our food and a few minutes later sat down and ate. The sweet and spicy burger was good and right and the fries were hot. The service was on point that day!

As soon as I walked in I was greeted with hostility by Zanet for having brought my bike into the establishment, only due to there being no bike racks outside to lock it up. The atmosphere automatically shifted to my embarrassment in front of other staff and customers. Please put a policy paper where it is visible, otherwise making up policy based on bias is unprofessional and not worthy of further business. I will be bringing an awareness to Corporate leadership.
Whatburger is always on point with the food! Can’t go wrong with their food! Service sucked. 1 out of 10.

I had a terrible experience at this Whataburger location. I ordered 2 Big Ranch Wraps with no tomatoes. When I started eating one of them, I realized it was made wrong and already had tomatoes. I had already eaten half of the sandwich at that point.

When I went back to explain the mistake, the employee told me if I don’t give him the sandwich, I will not get another one. That response was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I was not trying to get free food — the order was simply made incorrectly.

A customer should not be forced to hand back food they already ate from in order to receive a correct replacement. This situation could have been handled much better with basic customer service and respect.

Very disappointing experience. I expect better treatment and professionalism from Whataburger.

I went to Whataburger today, and even though the parking lot was completely full, I was amazed at how quickly I got my order. This location has such horrible service. Every time I go in the drive thru I have to wait 20+ minutes for my food. They never give me the condiments I ask very clearly for. I avoid going here but it didn’t look busy today and I decided to go. There was only one car in front of me and I still had to wait, condiments missing again and the order was all wrong and they were not busy! My burger was cold. This is not a one time occurrence. I don’t understand why this Whataburger is so bad compared to other ones.

I stopped by Whataburger today and had a really great experience. Even though the parking lot was packed with cars, the service inside was surprisingly quick. The team was polite, attentive, and made me feel welcome right away.

I went for a classic burger with fries and a drink, and everything tasted fantastic. The burger was cooked perfectly—juicy, flavorful, and fresh. The fries came out hot and crunchy, and the drink was ice-cold, which really hit the spot. To top it off, I grabbed a cup of their coffee, and it turned out to be rich and fresh, a nice touch at the end of the meal.

What impressed me most was how well the staff managed the busy rush while keeping the quality high and the atmosphere comfortable. It’s not easy to keep everything running smoothly with that many customers, but they did an excellent job.

Overall, today’s visit reminded me why Whataburger stands out—it’s not just the food but also the way they treat their customers. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to.
