Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Not from the area but we decided to stop in and get some quick dinner. We just happened to arrive after a college baseball team had ordered. The wait time was not very long at all, the food was fresh, and the service was great. On top of all that, the manager found out that the baseball team was going to be stopping by for dinner and came in to help her crew. Everyone had a great attitude and the restaurant was clean. We will definitely be back, when I am back in the area

The food is good but honestly, if there was other places open late night, I would have chosen differently. The price is kinda high. I ordered 2 combo meals and paid $25. I waited at the drive thru for 15 minutes with just one car in front of me. The staff was very friendly and our order was correct. I will say again, the food is good, but there’s alot of fast food places that are better in my opinion.

Wow, great experience! This location is ran like a well oiled machine. Super clean, great employees. I ordered the double western cheese burger Low Carb Style. Amazing! I usually only go through the drive thru, but I’m so glad I dined inside this time. Even the music is great.

Went fir lunch and it was easy to place an order. I did not have to wait long for my food. Food was hot, but soft drink was over carbonated. Needs more syrup.

I’ve passed on writing a bad review for this Wataburger, because I wanted to give them a chance, but this time was just too bad to let slide.
The only thing this Wataburger is good at is making food. We have tried drive thru, curbside, and this time we went for pick up at the counter. No matter how far in advance we order online, we still have to wait an absurd amount of time for our food. This time, we knew it would take a while, so we purposely ordered 25 minutes before we were planning on getting there. When my husband asked about our order, not only were they not sure where it was, but he was met with rude side-eye from the manager on duty. When they gave us our food, they stacked it in such a way, that the fries fell out before my husband was able to grab the bag. So we had to wait on new fries. Then, when we checked the bag, they had completely forgotten our onion rings. Which, when my husband told the manager, was met with another rude side-eye. Then we had to wait for the onion rings.
I’ll take long waits if the staff is nice, but this was hands down the worst experience I’ve had at this Wataburger.

The food is way too expensive to be wrong. Not sure how a large coke is root beer. Bacon cheese burger has 1/2 of 1 piece of bacon. $30 for burgers and 50% of the order is wrong or substandard. Im tired of paying premium prices for no effort. We will not be back.

Thanks for putting a million gross onions on my sandwich even when it was ordered without them. Ruined my sandwich completely!! So gross!!! It was a mobile order too. So they went out of their way to mess it up! Terrible customer service.

Every time we visit this store late at night we get the worse products. I don’t suffer quietly and why I’m spending $50 to $60 a visit I expect great service and great food. We work over nights and always so busy this has been our go to place. After last night I will not every spend my money in that store again. Yes I have had many orders replaced and tried to get it remade last night. The on duty manager was very rude in that. We talked to the operating partner candice and said we replace 90% of our orders. I spend min $150 a week their and they don’t replace no where near that amount. But if my food is wrong and I have to take my time and my gas to get my stuff replaced you are going to replace my whole ticket. Last night we couldn’t even eat our breakfast that was order didn’t even get the shirt or butter. Didn’t get the dipping sauce for the other items hash browns was way over cooked the hamburger that had added had very few nasty lettuce and a horrible pice of tomatoes. My sons patty melt was just thrown together and barley anything on it. The chicken. Strip sandwich has nasty hard bacon that couldn’t be chewed and very sloppy and thrown together. I never asked for a refund or replacement this time cause we decided at this point I’ll give my money to IHOP but to be as rude as she was and claiming they replace all my orders is crazy. This store needs new management and a new operating partner cause she hasn’t fixed a single problem. I will not ever go back to this location and have suck a bad taste for what a burger I don’t think I’ll ever go to any one of their locations.

We’ve been here through thr drive thru twice now. First time, it was after midnight and this time was lunch hour. We waited in line both time over 30 min. The food was hot. If I had waited that long and my food was cold, we’d be very upset. Just have to remember their burgers cone with mustard. So forgot to order with mayo.

Took 7+ minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were standing there waiting to order. I’m short, but they can see me over the counter.
I typically walk out after 5 minutes but the order was for 2 people working in the ER.
Order was incorrect.
Heard them say while we were waiting that they were out of onions and only had 2 eggs left.
Time for better management and increased staffing at night when nothing else is open.
