Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Very good service! Nice and friendly staff.
It took a while to get my food, though. I guess that was a good thing.
Always great tasting and big burgers. Drinks were flat, with no carbonation.

This Whataburger is good & alright, especially, they know how to make great wateraburgers, the service needs to be a little bit more serious and responsible for customers’ orders. Especially, I just only just wanted one cheese for my triple wateraburger instead of 4, at least to keep the bathroom locked and clean.

We found this Whataburger to be a very good place for a quick hassle-free meal.
We were greeted warmly, our order was accurate and cooked to order, our food was delivered with a genuine smile to our clean table, and the restrooms were clean as well. Workers were friendly to all other customers that were there, and the customers were polite as well (!) It all made for a pleasant experience, and for a fast food place, that’s saying something!

I went here on a bustling Saturday night around midnight. There was a variety of people from the nearby club, motels and general traffic.
I ordered a sandwich which turned out great but noticed something very uneasy. There was a security guard leaning on a divider and on his phone. He was oblivious to the people around him. What made it intense was he was armed and scores of people were walking within a foot behind him. This made the restaurant unsafe. I quickly grabbed my order and scadadled. I don’t frequent this Whataburger often but will avoid in the future.

Having grown up in an area devoid of Whataburger, I was excited to finally experience it. My chance came while working in the vibrant city of Oklahoma City, but to my surprise, the food didn’t quite live up to the hype I had built in my mind.
However, one redeeming quality is that Whataburger stays open late into the night, which is a tempting option for night owls or anyone burning the midnight oil. You can satisfy those late-night munchies with a decent burger and crispy fries if you crave a bite.
While that’s my personal take, I understand that many locals and fans adore it, and perhaps it’s a flavor I could learn to appreciate over time.

I would hope this place has better customer service during day shift, but I went late at night last night and my experience was shocking to say the least. I was in the drive through. The lady taking my order mis-heard me when I was ordering. Instead of ringing me up for a bbq chicken sandwich, she rung me up for a honey butter biscuit. When I got to the window I asked her to repeat my order and when I noticed the error, I politely let her know it was incorrect. She immediately got attitude and slammed the window shut, and slammed my debit card on the counter. I hear her cussing and complaining about me to the people in the kitchen. She then went over to the drink station by the window and pulled a pill bottle out of her purse and dry-swallowed a pill. She seemed under the influence. I complained to the shift manager and asked for the pill-popper’s name. Her name is Jessica. The manager was a bit apologetic, but honestly, she seemed like a drug user as well. With how tense and rude the lady was, I hope my food was not tampered with. I was really disgusted with their service.

One of the cleaner fast food restaurants around. The staff are exemplary in customer service. Always greeted with a smile. It’s nice to be acknowledged. I believe they’re genuinely thankful for the business and it shows. Our party had an apple and cranberry chicken salad that was fresh and delicious. I had the standard burger with onion rings that just hit the spot. I had already started eating before I thought to take a photo.

Great tasting food that came out fairly quickly. We had never been before, so we all tried something different – and we all greatly enjoyed.
Bathrooms require a code to get in which I personally dislike, as I have stomach issues and an unlocked bathroom eases my anxieties immensely, but I do also understand reasons for needing it locked.
If down this way again, we’d definitely come back.
