Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Service was great. Manager was really engaging and polite. Staff were on top of everything and extremely quick.

Food was OK, but a little bland. Tased like a large McDonald burger. Cobb salad was a massive hit though. 12 out of 10.

I placed an online order through the app, nothing complicated. A few minutes later, I get hit with a notification that my order was canceled due to a “technical issue.” Okay, fine. These things happen, right? But then I check the app and it’s telling me I had insufficient funds. That’s weird, so I pull up my bank account and guess what? Not only do I have plenty of money in there, but Whataburger had ALREADY charged me for the canceled order that I supposedly didn’t have money for. So now I’m out the money with no food, and their system is basically holding my cash hostage. I figure the logical thing to do is drive over there and sort this mess out in person. Surely they can help, right?
Wrong. I walk in and stand at the counter for what felt like forever before anyone even looked my way. When someone finally acknowledged my existence, their response was basically a corporate shrug. “Sorry, we can’t see your order on our end. The app is completely separate from our system. There’s nothing we can do.”
That’s it. No attempt to call a manager. No offer to make me the food I already paid for. No suggestion about who I should contact to get my money back. Just a flat “not our problem.”
I’m not asking for the world here. I just wanted either the food I paid for or my money back. Instead, I got treated like I was bothering them by existing in their restaurant. The complete lack of customer service was terrible.
At the end of the day, I’m out money, still hungry, angry kid and left feeling like Whataburger views their customers as an inconvenience rather than the reason they exist. If you can’t be bothered to help when your own system screws up, what’s the point?

We stopped at this Whataburger during our trip, and it turned out to be a great experience. Being from Texas, I already have a lot of love for Whataburger, but this location really stood out.

From the moment we walked in, Violet made us feel welcome. Her customer service was top-notch — she was attentive, friendly, and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. It’s not every day you come across someone who clearly takes pride in their work, but Violet did, and it made the visit even better.

The food came out fresh, hot, and just as good as I’ve come to expect from Whataburger. Sometimes on the road you never know what you’ll get, but this stop reassured me that Whataburger is consistent and reliable.

I’ll definitely be stopping here again whenever I’m in the area. If you’re from Texas or just want to experience Whataburger done right, come to this location — and if you’re lucky, Violet will take care of you too.

I challenge you to find a better Whataburger experience anywhere in the OKC metro area. The store is always clean. The food is seved quicker than any Whataburger that I have been to and is always hot and delicious. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Even though this location like all Whataburgers is usually very busy, Tara always takes the time to sincerely make you feel welcomed and to make sure that you have everything that you need or want.

The staff was awesome to the tea. They got my order hot and ready and accurate. We’ll recommend many people to come to this water burger on the way to Oklahoma City. Slogan would be “For the best Whataburger stop at Edmond Whataburger”, and Tara M as awesome sauce with her customer service!!

Brought the boy and his Grandma here on the way home and decided to dine in. The Customer service was great, the food was to be expected but there was some awful dude in the dining area that kept yelling at his kids. Not the restaurants fault obviously just uncomfortable. The only reason I gave it a 4 is I got a chocolate malt to go and it was a disappointment. If you going to sell a malt, there are expectations. Lol, I guess braum’s sets the standard pretty high.. However, we will continue to dine there. The burgers and salads are pretty good, I must say, not that my worthless opinion matters.

Being from Buffalo NY I’ve never had a Whataburger in my life.
Upon walking in, Tara greeted us with a big smile and asked what we were ordering. I told her I had absolutely no clue and asked if she could give me some recommendations on what to order. Not only did she go through most of the menu to help me decide, She suggested her favorite, the sweet and spicy burger. So I went with that, and She was on point. It has such great flavor, and a nice sweetness but not overpowering sweetness, with a hint of a tangy aftertaste. You can tell that she truly loves her job and would go above beyond to help a customer. She had made mention she’s only been there for about 10 months as a manager and she seems like she’s rocking it!

Me and my mom stopped by this Whataburger on Sunday afternoon on our way home after visiting my grandma and aunt. All we wanted was something simple, a patty melt combo for me, and just the patty melt sandwich for my mom. That’s it. Nothing crazy, nothing custom.

Tell me why whoever was taking orders through the drive-thru must’ve been half-asleep or daydreaming, because my mom CLEARLY said “just the sandwich,” and this girl still gave her a whole burger.

We didn’t even notice till we were already driving off, and by then the line was wrapped around the building. The receipt even said burger, even if she said patty melt, so how did that even happen?? You had one job.

If you’re new, that’s fine! But maybe listen to the customer before you start handing out random stuff?? Especially when people are tired, hungry, and driving across states.

Never thought I’d say this but… Whataburger really dropped the ball today. Do better.

Waited for a while at drive through, other lane took 2 orders before mine was taken. I understand it was busy.
I can deal with that, but the burger was not good at all. Probably my last visit at this place. Please see photo, I mean it’s whatabuger, I didn’t expect much, but you have lowered the bar.
