Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Stopped by to grab some breakfast and a drink before work. Wait was 20 mins but I’ll wait for good food just as anyone else will. Good thing I leave for work really early to accommodate things like this. Anyways, window lady did fine but my food was atrocious. My sweet tea tasted like the spouts on the tea urns have not been completely disassembled and soaked overnight then scrubbed clean and rinsed in the morning since the day this location opened. If you know, you know exactly what I’m talking about. The gravy on my bowl leaked out of the bowl and all over the inside of the bag with my napkins and utensils. The bowl was put in the bag sideways and handed to me upright with no mention of keeping it on its side. Get different bags for your bowls or mention to your customer that it needs to stay on its side to prevent leakage.
Bottom line is, your repeat customers pay your bills, especially during the winter, in this small town. I know you are corporate/franchise, and probably function off of an active labor system. More business = more hours to disperse = happier employees with bigger checks and more of an opportunity to provide for their families.
Being open for less than 6 month and skipping out on core, fundamental IMPORTANT aspects of your job description is really sad and downright lazy. Cutting corners and not caring is so sad.
Don’t ask me to elaborate or reach out, make your employees that you pay tighten UP. Simple.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, the one thing that I always hated about Whataburger were the commercials, I couldn’t stand that they were so annoying! I’m in a small town so there’s not many choices here so I decided to go to Whataburger and I got their double meat double cheese jalapeno burger and it was pretty amazing the fries were hot and fresh and they gave me this amazing raspberry drink with raspberries actually in it! I took the food home and it was still great.

I’m a truck driver and I’ve been all over the country. This place has the absolute BEST chicken sandwiches and some of the most juicy and crispy onion rings. The staff is so friendly! Lindsey and her crew know how to make a mean chicken sandwich! Yum yum, eat em up!

I’m so happy that my little hometown finally got a fast food restaurant that is actually good. I travel for work and have been to alot of whataburgers. And Heber is one of the top two best ones I have ever been too.

I came in at 1:40 and sometimes the food is subpar at that time at other places. But not today my food was hot fresh and absolutely delicious. Everyone that worked here was very helpful and nice. Oh and if you haven’t tried the whattasauce, it’s delicious!!
Update: it really takes an extremely long time in the Drive-Thru sometimes. If you’re pressed for time it might be quicker to go inside. ♀️

The food I have had was good, though the burgers could use seasoning. The burgers I have eaten from this institution in TX are seasoned. Food is fresh and hot. Employees are kind, happy, and helpful. BUT……all 3 times i have ordered the content of the order received is majorly different than what is ordered. It is getting OLD! A mistake occasionally is so understandable but this is literally the opposite of what I had hoped for. I was praying we’d have consistent food quality and service instead we have consistent order errors/mixups. Sigh….

1st day new opening. We were greeted nicely and food was served fast and hot even though they were jammed packed. So glad to have them in Heber. Patty melt was delicious. Even my grandson who only like BK nuggets ate the kids nuggets all of them.

Amazing food, and dispite how busy the drive through was, they adjusted. Someone was outside and took your order before even getting to the menu and they brought out food early.

After living in Texas for many years I can honestly say its about the same as any Whataburger I’ve ever been in. I will say, Heber Springs needs more quality restaurants and not more fast food, but Whataburger is their #1 best fast food location.
