Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Meh. Almost 10 bucks 3 barely warm/dry chicken strips. Enough sauce to bathe them though. ☠️ Will try again after they’ve been open a while! Service was quick & friendly.

We were overcharged on our order and never got our white gravy. I also didn’t like that we were pulled out of line by an employee who used a tablet to take our order. When she asked me what we wanted I told her I wasn’t sure since I couldn’t see the menu. I don’t go to Whataburger often to know what it is I am ordering. Once we were done ordering she told me the total was $60. Today I calculated the cost and taxes. Our order shouldn’t have gone over $50, so that employee did something wrong. I also didn’t like having to wait for my order off on the side while everyone else got to get their order and go. There were other families who got their order faster than mine. This whole experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I will never be going back to Whataburger.

Hey corporate your new manager Lacy I think is her name may need some more training on how to deal with customers in a more respectful way. Personal owner of 4 franchised restaurants for 22 years speaking here. She was rude in the way she closed the drive thru at 12:13am because the delivery truck was here! What?!? First of all Isn’t this a 24 hour restaurant? I pleaded to be the last one because this night I could Not get out of my vehicle. Wow Lacy was furious. First she said she would not take my order & then proceeded to make me wait in the drive thru for 23 minutes before I got my food. Wow. This is not the way to open a restaurant folks! Alyssa at the drive thru window however was absolutely delightful & saved the day! She needs a raise.

I didn’t go to the location, but a friend bought me a burger, fries, and a milkshake. The food was delicious! 10 times better than sonic or McDonald’s in my opinion. I’m only talking about the food quality here because I didn’t pay for the meal, and don’t know what it costs and I did not visit the location to see what kind of service they have.

Terrible. $50 and a long wait for 3 people is crazy when you get the food I received. Flaccid bacon (barely any). Flaccid onion rings (mush). Asked to sub mustard for jalapeno ranch on my sweet & spicy burger – what I received instead was zero sweet & spicy, near zero jalapeno ranch, and a metric ton of mustard that overwhelmed the sandwich. The “grilled” onions barely touched the grill.

Whataburger will never receive another cent from me.

It’s incredibly disrespectful to your customers to serve this low quality of food.

New location was practicing orders last night with their staff. My son and his friend asked if they could feed the homeless and they gave him about 15- 20 bags of big combos, and they went handed them out last night. Thanks for being kind, giving them the opportunity to share their heart with others!

HORRIBLE!!! How do you open a brand new location and the service is absolutely awful??? The wait was HORRENDOUS for 1 burger, small nuggets and a drink, mean while they have 12 workers in kitchen. Not a good start at all very dissatisfied
