Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. Everything came out quickly, the prices were reasonable, and the team behind the counter was welcoming and upbeat. You can tell they care about doing things right. It’s absolutely worth going out of your way to stop here—you won’t leave disappointed.

The burgers are fine but won’t change your life. We tried the jalapeno cheese burger, sweet and spicy bacon burger, onion rings, fries, and banana pudding shake. I was surprised at how flavorful the cheese was on the jalapeno cheeseburger since it was just American cheese. The jalapenos were probably the least spicy I’ve ever had (not complaining, but if you’re looking for heat, this ain’t it). The bacon had a very strong flavor as well and became overwhelming after a while. The onion rings had a good flavor and texture but could have been cooked longer to get them a little more crispy. The banana pudding shake was the best part and was really good. Overall I’m glad I tried this, but I can’t see myself going out of my way to get it again.

Great burger for fast food. Been really excited for one of these in our area. It’s still fast food, so don’t expect some majestically special food.
The Dr pepper and strawberry shake were both great.
We also got a triple cheeseburger, a regular cheeseburger, and chicken sandwich.
Chicken sandwich was kind of plain, but we go for the burgers. Fries were nice and salty too.
Personally, just always been a fan of this chain.
Also, expect a bit of a wait since it’s new and there’s quite the line.

Love Whataburger! I didn’t know that they were this far north. Clean, friendly, and fast. The food delivery to the tables was nice. Also their was a sauce guy walking around with extra ketchups and spicy ketchup. The bacon cheeseburger was great as usual. As a family of 5 everyone’s order was right, which doesn’t always happen. The allergen list is on the website menu which is awesome for a family with multiple allergies. The “Whataburger” is safe for dairy and egg allergies.

Fresh, fast and clean restaurant. My husband and I both got the Whataburger combo. We also shared the Shroom and Swiss burger and oh my goodness it is sooo good. Has the same flavor of the original mushroom and Swiss from Hardee’s from many years ago. Only complaint is the extra mushroom burger was 10 bucks which was how much a whole combo is.

Today’s experience was 5-star. But I visit this location often and the service can be a bit inconsistent, at times. That’s why I’m giving 4’stars. If you eat in the restaurant, you’re more likely to receive your correct order. If you order in the app and/or go through the drive-thru, you may not get the correct order. If you don’t, whatever you do get will still be tasty. Avoid the coffee, though. I’ve ordered it twice and it was terrible both times.

Horrible service. Employees don’t care. And they just screwed over a Cancer patient during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Everyone deserves to be fired. This restaurant chain should have stayed in Texas because they get it right plus the food is better in Texas. Get out of Missouri. This is coming from someone that came from Texas. I will be reporting to the Better Business bureau

If I could rate this establishment higher, I definitely would. Staff is amazing, patient, and helpful. Customer service is top notch. Table service. The food was fresh and delicious. Prices are competitive and affordable. The dining area was very clean and spacious. Wheelchair and handicapped friendly. The bathroom was also very clean. What a selection of food! It was hard to decide, for me, and will keep me coming back to try more. And Ohhhh, the shake! The White chocolate raspberry was delightful. Yum! Thank you ❤️

It really sucks to say we had a bad experience at Whataburger bc we love Whataburger. But this location has horrible service in the drive thru. My husband went to pick up food and Emerald was extremely rude and refused to serve my husband bc he didnt want to pull forward. She refunded him in cash and told him to leave or she would call the cops. It’s completely crap they tell people to move forward and park and wait somewhere else for the food. It always takes them forever to bring food to you most of the time I’m sure they forget about you bc you moved. We go through the drive thru and wait our turn just like everyone behind us should we shouldn’t have to move bc 2 cars behind us food is ready. They can wait just like we did. It was wrong for her to treat my husband this way and now this location has lost loyal costumers. Whataburger needs to do better and hire better employees as well. Rant over!!!
