Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Was visiting my son and we ate here. There was one girl who was so super friendly and smiling. She greeted us, and when she brought our food to us, she was still smiling. The food was fresh and hot and good. The guest next to us was a little shady but that is ok. Over all a good experience and would recommend. Great job!

The area could use some improving, but I’m not sure how much control the restaurant has over that. There are always homeless people hanging out in the area, and the last time we were in town, someone had been involved in an altercation at the restaurant next door. Police had the area blocked off. The staff at this Whataburger is super nice, though, and curbside is fast, reliable, and fresh. I’ll keep stopping here until I feel like there is a true reason not to.

Grilled chicken sandwich was cold. I ordered a different bun they gave me the original bun. No salt on the fries. I don’t hunk they know how to function in a rush but I had a mobile order so idk how they messed it up

My wife and I never had whataburger before (none in our area). However when we saw a location on our road trip, we knew we had to stop here and try it. And oh boy were we happy that we did!! It was one of my top favorite fast food experiences. My wife can be a little picky; however she loved it as well. If we were traveling through here again, we would stop here again for sure. Outstanding food and pleasant service!!!!

In the great battle for Western USA fast food burger supremacy between Whataburger and In-N-Out, Whataburger comes in a close second. As a non-local who does not have any loyalties to either restaurant, I found that both are overrated. I thought Whataburger tasted close to a Sonic burger. I’m not sure that’s a compliment.
