Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Was greeted by three or four staff members as I walked up to look at the menu. Everyone was extremely nice. I had not been to a Whataburger in a long time. Everything was fantastic and they brought my food right to my table. And free refills on the soda. Can’t wait to go back.

I ate Undercooked chicken sandwich while pregnant so upset brought to manager, she couldn’t figure out how to do return, took my info down on a napkin and said I should dispute with credit card company. This used to be a regular stop for us on the way to visit family, I will not be back after today’s experience.

First… you step into a sparkling clean restaurant, then the restroom is clean, then we were greeted by an employee who took our order. She was friendly enough. She brought someone else’s order and asked us how our food was (not expected, but nice). They changed the Diet Coke without a huff.
Let’s get to the food. What? The Whataburger is gone?! Oh yeah, that’s because it was so good. We had crispy onion rings with our lunch; all were very good!!!
You can join there loyalty club, and even shop for Whataburger swag! We didn’t try the White Chocolate Raspberry shake; maybe next time.

I ordered a spicy chicken burger and the service was very slow, taking approximately 15 minutes to receive my food. Because of the excessive wait time, I requested a complimentary order of fries, which the staff graciously provided.

Unfortunately, it took >40 min. from when we ordered to get our food and about 1/3 of the order was missing. The employees were kind, but the service was below average. Not the quick stop we were anticipating from a fast food place.

Stopped in for a quick lunch as this location regularly produces good food. A very nice lady named Wanda was taking orders. She started a conversation with me and I was laughing immediately. After she brought my order out to my table, she was talking with other guests. She had them laughing and smiling before long. I even noticed a couple of hugs given – likely regulars that she has befriended. In a world of so many negatives, Wanda is a huge positive. I’ll be back when in town just to observe her make a difference in her world! And yes, the food was great and the fries were hot and crispy.

VERY friendly staff and their focus to provide great customer service is top notch. The quality of food is ok…lots of different options. I think their burgers are definitely comparable to another drive through, order at curbside, fast food restaurant that starts with a “S”…but they are a little larger. To me, the spicy chicken sandwich is where it’s at – pretty good and definitely something that separates them.

I ordered my food and the drink machines were down and no mention of it by anyone. I asked for a refill from the back unit and she said it was down also. The food was good , but I had to listen to the Mgr and several employees get into an argument and the voices kept escalating and getting louder. I finished up my meal with nothing to drink and then left the store.
