It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

My kids love this place even though it takes forever to get your food. I don’t mind stopping there if they have those delicious, gooey, hot cinnamon rolls. I buy the whole pan. Why buy 1 for $4, when you can get the whole pan for $12.

This is the newest what a burger restaurant in the area. It is very nice and very well built. The food is very good and they have also seemingly expanded their menu with great limited edition offerings in food and drink. The service was very fast the night I was there. The atmosphere was very fresh and new as it is newly built.

Tonight, March 2,2026 I didn’t have a good experience with Madison Whataburger. Only one other car was in the drive-thru when I made my order. I ordered the Boneless Chicken Wings meal and sweet & spicy bacon burger only. Young lady came to the car with my drink and got my d. Card. Other cars began to form. When I got my orders, there were no Boneless Wings. As the young lady passed by my car, I told her I didn’t receive my Wings. She asked me did I get my sauce I said yes. Nothing else was said. People behind me was still receiving their orders, so I asked for my order again as she passed by. I’m right at the door, so the manager of the night brought orders out, I asked him was I gonna get the rest of my order, my other food was getting cold. He said they were working on it. A minute later he asked me what name on the order. When I received my Boneless Wings, there was no apology nor a thank you. I don’t think you have to be taught if you are an adult to speak and say thank you.

Makes absolutely no sense to have a drive through system like this so the people who order ahead and get their food has to wait 30 minutes for the people in front to get their food so we can leave, been waiting thirty minutes for these cars to get their food after we got ours because we couldn’t leave because of this ridiculous drive through system. And they messed up our order.

I had a great experience at the Whataburger in Madison, MS! The food was fresh, hot, and made exactly how I ordered it. The burgers were juicy, the fries were perfectly seasoned, and my order came out quickly even though they were busy. The staff was friendly, professional, and made sure everything was correct before I left. The restaurant was also clean and well kept, which made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend this location to anyone looking for good food and great service!

I just wanted to give a shoutout to Quez at Whataburger! The customer service was top tier from the moment I walked in. Quez had a great attitude, was super respectful, and made sure my order was right. You can tell he actually cares about the customers and takes pride in his work. I went here 4 nights ago and it was an absolute disaster. I walked in and it was a young lady fixing food and bagging it with one glove on. I explained to her that was not correct. She went to wash her hands(allegedly), proceeded to put new ones on, dropped them and still put them on.
So, I called the manager(which was new and supposedly counting money in the back) to explain what was happening and she was also rude and unprofessional while the manager, Bria from the Madison location was on the other end. She explained to the new manager that isn’t how you handle that situation…she ended up reporting her to their district manager.
After that I still tried to give them another chance. But, after getting my salad and popping the lid off only to smell something spoiled. I politely asked for a refund and went to the Madison location.

I placed an order online waited 30 minutes to get my order. Only to look in the bag and notice no fries. I go back inside and let them know and the front desk person has an attitude because they failed to give me my order correct. Then she give me 1 small fry and 1 medium fry. When I asked why I have 1 small fry she told me thats what you paid for. I then should her my receipt and she said oh it look like a k for kids meal. She then gives me a medium fry never apologize. I go to the car and something tells me to check my burgers and both are wrong. I bring the burger back inside and she with an attitude whats wrong now. I showed her the receipt and the burgers and she took them to the back. I never understood how you have online orders but you still have to wait after you get to the restaurant past the time the app suggest. The manager did come out at the end and apologized and said she made the order herself but her staff does not care about customer service. I will say the manager is a very nice lady but her staff needs help.
