Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

All these comments about the really long line before their dining room is open, are going to fade pretty fast! I think the food was really good, and that extremely long line day after day, should be telling you something about that food quality! I sat through it. I’ll sit through it again! Check out that line wrapping the building! Starts as a double line! That was even a Slow moment I went for!

First order was wrong. No grilled onions. Fries were good and the Coke was good. No napkins and no ketchup. Line was only 15-20 cars at midnight and moved painfully slow. I went after midnight and only one lane was open.

Overhyped for sure. Waited over 30 minutes for a cold burger with very thick onion and tomatoes slices. The cheese was also horrible, the burger was not warm enough that the cheese could not even melt (see picture). I hope this is not the quality this chain aims for. Not impressed at all, will not be going back. Head to Culvers!

Very good food and service. Wait was about 30 minutes but they opened about a week ago so it’s understandable. Burger was excellent, tomato was to thick for my liking and the lettuce likes to fall off but I will be getting again. Also one of the fries was NOT cooked . But the rest where fine. Gave me a free brownie for the long wait. 5 stars

Great experience at this Whataburger! The food was fresh and exactly what I ordered, and the service really stood out. Dee was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the whole visit pleasant from start to finish. It’s always nice to be greeted with a smile and genuine customer care. I’ll definitely be back!
