Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The fries were ok, nothing really bad but nothing special. The avocado bacon burger surprised me. I love avocado on my burger but it taste good on this particular burger. I would also preferred my bacon to be cooked a bit longer. My biggest disappointment was if you took everything off both types of burgers and left only the meat, you still couldn’t taste the meat. Granted it was nice size patties for both types of bread, but it was tasteless. The whataburger sauce was good. The best part was the presentation of the burger once unwrapped. I mean you can eat the burger anyway you like and be sure nothing is falling out.I gave it 3 stars because I can take it or leave it.

I had a great experience at this location! The food was fresh, hot, and made just the way I ordered it. The team was friendly and welcoming from the moment I pulled up to the speaker. Jazz was the cherry on top when I got to the window. She didn’t make me feel like I was just a dollar, but she actually made me feel welcomed and appreciated!It’s nice to see fast food done right — quick service without cutting corners on quality. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Customer service terrible. Food is okay. The tea is sour. Also missing items. I had an extremely long day yesterday so when I got off work this morning I accidentally put my order for this location and not my normal one. I’ll take the blame for that one. However I called the store multiple times to let them know what had happened even the one I normally got to called no answer whatsoever. Which means everything that happened could have all been avoided if the staff would have picked up the phone. I love Whataburger I grew up on it. Customer service and staff have always been friendly and accommodating. This was not the case this morning. The person at the window was rude and snooty. They were aggressive about handing my order on top of I went to ask about the order and it was ignored. I was already running behind to get home and get my daughter ready for school otherwise I would have gone back through and said something. However I live an hour out and that just wasn’t feasible and my family comes first. I will not be ordering or ever be getting food from this location ever again. Not to mention there was no line it wasn’t even busy. Which tells me the staff just didn’t care and they are there just for a paycheck not to provide excellent experience for the customer. I am posting a few pictures including the receipt. Do better is all I got to say.

This has been my regular lunch place for a couple weeks now during the work week & I can’t say enough good things. They are one of the few places that offer a grilled chicken sandwich, instead of the usual fried options, & it never disappoints. The staff is friendly & quick with their service. Jazz specifically, is a delight. Always ready with a quick smile & remembers regulars. This is definitely one of my favorite go to places.

Jazz in the drive through was absolutely amazing.She had customer service skills above and beyond her pay grade.She let me know about all the deals.She let me know about all the promotions.I downloaded the app was able to get a free burger.She just was absolutely wonderful and didn’t treat me like I was in a drive through. She treated me like a person and I appreciated that.

My first experience with whataburger and I was very satisfied. The employees were very polite and patient with me. The burger was excellent, much better than I was expecting. My only issue was the fries…they are the thin shoestring type and if over cooked even a little aren’t very good.

Be sure to check the food for temperature control before driving off. Have your receipt ready in case you need a refund. The burger & fries were lukewarm, stale. The Arnold Palmer tasted like unsweetened tea made with faucet water. They had one person taking forms of payment as she frantically tried to handle 10+ cars in both lanes. Thanks Lele for taking the time to call me back.
Again, what will it take to get higher quality food instead of adding more diabetic, trans fatty and high cholesterol drive thru chains to the area. I do not recommend nor expect to return.

Got a #5 with extra pattie med combo with a coke. Had a 45 minute wait time. The food is super good and reminds me when I lived in Texas and would eat here. The bun had a soggy spot on the bottom but it taste really good. The girl running the second line and taking orders deserves a raise because she was doing a great job seeing as how she was the only one on shift today. Not sure what’s with the ordering system but it’s weird. Had to give her my card to go inside and charge it and then bring it back.
