Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

They have very poor poor customer service skills morning shift is awful ran off a total disaster the manager which I think her name is walker I asked for her name a couple times that’s how I know it’s something similar to that be on the grill most of the time I have been there neverrrrrrrrrr saw her wears gloves that I know that’s so unprofessional an unsanitary doesn’t greet customers as they walk in unless she knows you I heard her use profanity at a loud tone I ask was they hiring for a family member when the family member got there to get the application she was telling workers to say she’s not hiring I felt as if she was discriminated no one should be like that in a public place of business I have had problems with my food under several occasions called to asked to speak with her u can hear her saying she don’t wanna talk I called back she said she busy to take my name down when I say unprofessional at its finest I like it better when the guy Quinton was there he was always helpful an well mannered to other I will great appreciate if someone higher up sit down an have a talk with her because no place should be ran like that an Whataburger is the closest restaurant to my house I have been dealing with them for years but a stop need to be put to the unprofessionalism I have to wait until night shift to go there an them guys on night shift is great keep up the good work the people loves yall service

I don’t know what it is with the evening staff at this location, every time I come during lunch time or early mornings I have phenomenal service even when they are slam-packed, but the in late evening time my service is always subpar. This is probably the fourth time they’ve gotten my order wrong and had an attitude with me when I politely correct it. I ordered a number one with ketchup, mustard and cheese only. They called out a number two with ketchup, mustard and cheese over the speaker. I corrected them letting them know it was supposed to be a number one. They said okay and to pull forward. Well when I got my receipt it was for number one with ketchup and cheese only. So I politely let them know that it needed mustard as well before they handed me my order and they snarkly responded “well You should have told us but okay.” And I still didn’t get mustard on my burger. The evening staff really needs to learn from the daytime staff. They are much more polite and rarely get my order wrong even when they are slammed in the middle of lunch

This wouldn’t be a big deal and I wouldn’t normally write a review if this wasn’t the fourth time I’ve had a similar experience in the evenings within the past year.

I came in for breakfast 7/8/25. I waited for ten minutes while watching a member of the staff give someone she knew personally their food before me. He came in about 5 minutes after me didn’t pay for his order and left. This wasn’t fair at all. He had on house shoes and I had on work clothes. I think me getting to work was more important than someone coming to get free food. It was about 5:15 am. The lady hugged the guy that’s how I knew she knew him. After all of the entire meal was cold. I won’t be back again

I’ve always liked the food. Decent quality food. SERVICE has always been the worst at this location. Oder was taken at 9:19am, we had to go and get our food from the line. Not that they were busy, but one employee decided to take a break while 5 people in the dining room we’re waiting for their food.

I must say this particular day was great, the customer service was great she was very sweet gave me plenty of condiments, also my food was soooo fresh. The chili cheese fries is the bomb omg the chili is real chili and the shred it cheese makes it a great combination. I must say I will return before it’s gone back off the menu

Ordered last night at 12:30am on my way to Robertsdale.(30 min away) I get home and realize I don’t have my brownies which are three dollars and some change a piece. I called around 1am to tell them I will be back to get them in the morning if they would just write it down or whatever. Got there and was told “you wouldn’t come here for no brownies” I SPENT 50 FLIPPING DOLLARS. Yes I will come back for something I didn’t get.
