Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I got home started eating my patty melt and noticed it was really undercooked. Meet mushy and cold in the center. This is honestly disgusting.. they were not even busy I was the only car in line. Couldn’t reach anyone on the phone I would like my money back. Also spent to much money on a jalapeno ranch that was already opened this is just very disappointing

We stopped here every time we travel south of Nashville TN. It is always clean and food fully meets all expectations of my favorite fastfood chain.
The Athens, AL location has great staff – always friendly and thoughtful.
Shout-out to Carli who greeted us and took our food order. A minute or so after I ordered the grilled chicken meal, she came to tell me they were cooking my chicken fresh. Our order would be ready in about 7 minutes. I appreciated the update. She also quickly replaced the rootbeer canister for me, though I know she and the rest of the staff were busy.
Food came out in about 5 minutes. Our entire order was fresh and hot, made just the way we requested. Shout-out to the kitchen for timing everything perfectly!

The price is my only reason for 4 stars. I only got 3 meals & a plain chicken sandwich & it cost $65.14. It’s ridiculous the price for fast food now days. Sad thing is, you’re still hungry after spending that much money. Luckily the food was all right & the service was ok. That’s few & far between now days too. I did get a big reusable Whataburger bag with my order that was $50 or more. Makes it easier to carry. Wonder if that’s what made it cost so much. Nope, the bag was free lol. My only complaint is the prices are ridiculous.

Super service and a pleasant crew. I want to commend the young lady that waited on me, Jayliah, for her cheerful and professional personality. I had a bit of trouble with the APP order and she waisted no time in making things right. It’s refreshing to see a young employee so enthusiastically attending to customers. Kudos to her and the rest if the staff!!

I was in a hurry, it took them a while to get my burger. They finally gave my burger, but they forgot about my coffee. They didn’t have any brewed, so I had to wait longer for them to brew some. The burger itself was good and so was the coffee.

My cheeseburger was missing the cheese. One thing I don’t like about Whataburger is they focus on the hamburger. They don’t have a cheeseburger on the menu. It’s basically a hamburger with cheese. So if the clerk misses it based on me asking for a cheeseburger then it’s missed. This isn’t the first time it’s happened. I know to always check so I dinged them one star for that but they made it right. The patty melt was as awesome as always!

This Whataburger is trash. This was my 1st and last time eating at this establishment. The service was trash and the food was surprisingly trash too. The fries tasted cold and frozen and the burger was not much better. Ordered a burger and the lady gave me a plate with no bun. This is wild. All good enjoy my money that will be the last you see. If i could give 0 stars I would.

Place is wonderful .The manager that works there saved my life literally. I had dropped my wallet at the whataburger In AthensAL yesterday. I had been a wreck since then.Thinking how I have to cancel my card’s etc. I retraced my steps and finally called whataburger thinking theres no way I dropped it there . But thank God the manager found it and put in their safe!
