Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Love whataburger and so happy to have it here!! I have now been to this location on 4 separate occasions. Last night I went into the restaurant around 11:15pm. There was only a few people inside however I waited over an hour for my food and it still was not correct. I know this just opened, however service seems to be getting worse than better. I hope they can turn it around.

Came out for their grand opening and was not expecting the lines and crowd. With that being said, there were police officers directing traffic and they were controlling the occupancy of the restaurant. I was happy to see that.
The line moved fairly quickly and tables were being cleaned promptly. The poor cashier was pretty overwhelmed but handled things well and was very nice.
They only had one fountain for the sodas and two kiosks were down. Just things that could be fixed later. I was irritated when I asked for a sauce to go with one of my four meals and a worker said it’d be 0.50 cents which I told her it’s fine. Then the table sitting next to us asked for the SAME sauce when the food was brought over….they got it for free. Didn’t make sense.
Now onto the food. My chicken sandwich was hot and fresh. Wish it was seasoned a little more. My table enjoyed their burgers and chicken tenders. Took a while for the food to come out but portions were reasonable.

Was very good and it was served within 15 minutes, which was pretty amazing as there were 30 cars in line at 2:45 AM. The fries are really good shakes were big and it was about 15 bucks for everything that I got. I really appreciate them opening back up and sticking to 24 hour because then you can go there anytime and have good food.

I did a review based on my enthusiasm for their opening locally to my neighborhood and was not disappointed!
The manager in my photos was amazing! He was incredibly patient and kind, the line moved quickly, the store is clean, and my second visit, the next day was a drive thru experience that was just as great!
My family had the fajita chicken tacos, superb! Also, the whatacatch fish is sooooo good! Of course the burgers and fries and onion rings were as good as we expected and excellent shakes! My family members who have never had Whataburger before this visit were amazed at the size of the sandwiches and how delicious they were.

While the daytime lines at this new location look intimidating, they actually move fast. The staff is super friendly, and having a 24-hour spot in Tampa Bay is a total game-changer!
I tried the Whataburger with cheese and wasn’t a huge fan, but the service was good enough that I’ll definitely be back to try other menu items. Welcome to Tampa Bay, Whataburger!

This was supposed to have been a double, yet it’s a thin double jr. My daughter burger was also wrong with a single jr. People pay too much money for fast food, and having to sit in a long line to be ripped off. Asked for gently ice and all four cups filled to the top as usual. Didn’t fuss about the extra ice just because they’re busy. Got to do better!!!
