Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Manager gave my money back and a coupon to get free meal for the 20 minute wait.
Great food, awesome service, good prices.
I love Whataburger and go there at least 1x per week. The taquito is my favorite. I stopped there this morning at about 9 AM for breakfast – dine in. When my friend and I entered the building there were 3 ladies in the front. One was cleaning out the deep fryer and the other two were watching. All 3 looked around but didn’t even acknowledge we were there. After quite some time one of the ladies turned around and told us the person who was running the register would be there soon. When the lady came to the register I tried to order a taquito. She said no taquitos!!! She sounded irritated and was not a very nice person….Her tone was definitely RUDE!!!I would suggest that if an items is not available she should have said something to the extent I am sorry but we don’t have those available today because our supply truck didn’t come in…or something nice. This is not the first time I have had rude people at this particular store. The manager may need to retrain people on how to interact with the customer. We ended up going to the What A Burger on Hwy 98 not too far away.I know since Covid started there is a shortage of workers so I get that. Unfortunately, if they are there working they should at least be able to communicate to the customer if there is a shortage of something without being rude.

For fast food, the wait time was slow. The fries that we were originally given were bland and the container was only half full. We asked for another order of fries due to the taste, the new order were slightly better. I never ate from this fast food chain before and probably wouldn’t eat there ever again.
Good, clean location. The primary hostess interacted well with the people that I assume were regular customers, which is always a sign of a good location. I went with the #1 combo (a regular Whataburger and fries) and it did not disappoint, complete with the taste you expect from Whataburger. I always get the spicy ketchup for my fries.
