Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Went there on duty. Busy night. Only had a few minutes. Only person in the restaurant when I ordered. After 20 minutes, and several other customers coming and going with their food. I requested a refund so I could leave. Instead, the cashier said she would make my food real quick. Then, I was told we were waiting on fries. I eventually left with my drink and a burger (no fries) after 30 minutes. If I could submit zero stars, I would.

It was definitely a pleasure eating at this fast food restaurant, from ordering, a staff worker named Bobbie, M she was very friendly and professional as well as the rest of the staff. My wife and I where amazed at how all the staff was working together in a positive atmosphere !! And waiting on our orders to be bought to our table, the gentlemen had bought our order was very pleasant too.!! We had ordered HONEY BARBECUE CHICKEN STRIPS on TEXAS TOAST which was amazing!!! Whataburger thank you for having a great staff at this store. We will be eating there again. It’s a shame more places doesn’t have this type of atmosphere in their restaurants…

Very clean, good service and plenty of staff to keep the kitchen moving and they all seemed like they enjoy working there by listening to the banter. Onion rings were crisp with a real piece of onion (not diced onion like BK). Fries were a little under cooked for my taste, but good flavor. Burger was well made and flavorful. Had the vanilla shake. Good taste, needed a bigger straw because of how thick it was. Overall good meal for fast food.

Person who took our order was not on top of what we actually ordered. He was trying hard but missed a couple of requests like no ketchup on the Jr., then we asked for two water cups to split the milkshake with, we got to large drink cups. He was trying to do his best so not really a compliant. Service was good and fast. Hope this helps.

I ordered. I waited over 20 minutes for a chicken sandwich and fries that never came because I had to leave. While I was waiting, others came in and ordered and got their food. One of the customers called over to the cashier to let her know that someone in the back was wiping their face and then going back to making food. Then, I heard everyone needed to change gloves.

I should have checked my food before I left. My husband asked for ranch, and got gravy instead. I asked for no cheese and they put cheese and charged for cheese on my burger. They made us pull up which we didn’t mind doing… the girl gave us our food & then just walked off so my husband had to get out of the truck and go in and ask for ketchup. It’s just a little frustrating, especially considering they weren’t busy at all when we came through.

Food is good but the service is terrible. No one here that I have met yet cares about their job or customer service. You have to repeat a simple order at the drive through 4 times and they still get it wrong then it’s your fault for getting frustrated. Manager needs to step up.

Having eaten many of good hamburgers, this one ranks right up there with the best of them, another great example, of how keeping it simple is a sound philosophy. Definitely recommend trying one these hamburgers.
