Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The staff are amazing and funny! My husband and I are here for lunch and then came back for a free burger for leaving a review. The SAME manager, Jason, was there working as hard as a regular employee. He is funny and just overall made the experience great. Tania was our cashier and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take our order. I would eat here over the King of the burger or Having it my Way at McDonalds. You won’t regret it!

I visited this place and was really impressed. I ordered a burger with French fries, and everything was delicious — the meat was juicy, the bun was soft, and the fries were perfectly crispy. The place itself is beautiful, with a nice atmosphere that makes you want to stay and relax.
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always smiling and attentive. Overall, it was an excellent experience — great food, great service, and a cozy vibe. I’d definitely come back!

Use to come here regularly and get salad with grilled chicken filet. Its.been a.while so today went and got same thing I always get.
But now they Dont give you a chicken filet anymore, you get about 6 small cubes of chicken equivalent to Maybe a Half.of a chicken filet.

Wonderful service! Wonderful food! We havent been in years and decided to take a 2 hour drive to get food. Was very pleased! Manager Jason was absolutely amazing and made the food experience superb. If I coupd give 10 stars, I would!

Tampa resident here! Every time I come to STA, I love stopping here. Jason is phenomenal! What really stood out to me was Jason’s professionalism. We were at the counter ordering and some rude lady tried cutting in to pick up a door dash order. Jason maintain his focus on us and completed our transaction without skipping a beat.
