Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Best burger I’ve ever had! I saw no line so I pulled in first time ever. Ms Susan in the drive thru was nice and helpful. The Monterey melt was amazing! Cooked to order. Seemed expensive but after was definitely worth every bite!

I am not a burger fan but this is my 3rd time visiting Whataburger. I visited the one on Atlanta highway, Athens GA & the one on Lexington Ave and I enjoy it everytime. I ordered the No. 5 without pickles ( chef’s kiss).

Everyone was nice. They do their best accomdate you, and the food is good. It’s fast food, but much better than McDonald’s or Burger King or Taco Bell. The spicy ketchup is awesome. The fries are thin cut.

We stopped here on our way home to stretch and eat. First off the facility was very clean and seemed well kept up. We placed our order with Amillion and we had a large order. She was phenomenal (she needs a raise honestly). She was patient and kind and had no problem answering our questions. She never made us feel rushed or like we needed to hurry up. They got every bit of our order correct, even down to the no tomatoes. Everyone there did an amazing job! Also, their grilled chicken is delicious!!

My husband wanted a burger. I ordered chicken nuggets for me and they were gross. They were oily and tasted like they had been fried in oil that hadn’t been changed in a month. I was sick for 2 days from them. I’ll never eat from here again.

I’m so disappointed with this “restaurant” today 03/03/2026 I went at whataburger I was at this establishment wanting to order something for lunch. I stopped at the counter, and then another person arrived and double-parked to order. By the way, this person was driving a Texla, and they just told me to wait a moment and served the other person. I was driving my old 2004 Dakota, and I think it’s in bad taste to treat you like that, even though I arrived way before the other car. I’m never going back to this place. I was so annoyed that it didn’t even occur to me to take out my phone and record it, but it’s not worth it. Terrible service.

Very happy with everything here. We stopped for lunch as we were driving through the area. Manager was very friendly and patient while my family was ordering and the food came out just as ordered and was very good. The whole place was very clean and welcoming.
