Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The restaurant is filled with positive and reassuring employees I go in every now and again for my specialty sandwiches ( which are spicy chicken and patty melts) with many substitutions and add ons and they continue to get my order right every time . They also drop food freshly almost everytime I order my food is Very Hot as if it come straight out and into my hands. The store is very clean and kept up whenever I am there . I really enjoy the food the atmosphere and the community within whataburger . It’s a great place to bring your family for a quick lunch for sure.

I think it’s truly what you order here that it goes right. Have to find “your prize” meals. The breakfast ranchero is good & spicy. I would stay away from the chicken biscuit, but they get the BOB right.

I have been to Whataburger a few times, and the people who work here are wonderful. It’s rare to experience good customer service in fast food restaurants these days, but it’s like they took the heart of Texas and brought it with them. And it’s also rare to get freebies from any fast food restaurants unless you have accrued several points. But this morning Rod blessed me with a free honey butter chicken biscuit as part of their free breakfast promotion and he blessed me with his kindness. I hope whataburger stays in Athens for years to come. Thank you!

I ordered through the drive through and asked for ketchup and ranch with my meal and I was told to pull forward for them to bring me my food and waited for 10 mins and my order was wrong then I didn’t get no sauce the person taking my order is name kahliyah smh someone please retrain this person to take simple orders but I did go inside to order what I asked for and the guys up front got me right and also asked if I wanted more sauce and drinks and got my order right even though I didn’t tell them how they messed up my order in the drive through but if you decide to order to go or the drive thru just go inside and do that the guys upfront actually double check your order

Breakfast is always a hit here!! We always get the SEC biscuits. And love how it always comes with a round egg to order and it’s always hot and fresh!! There’s a little wait to get our breakfast but we don’t care because the food is always hot and fresh!!
