Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Would give a zero star rating if I could! Absolutely disgusted with the service I received! I can through the drive thru ordered 3 meals the cashier didn’t even check to see what I ordered and just handed the food out the widow I get home the food is completely different from what I ordered. Called to let them know hey you messed up our order and the manger pretty much said come back to get our correct food or a refund. I head back over to get it and while I’m sitting in the dining room waiting for my food the same cashier from before walks out and hands our food to the person who was also waiting for their food. Mind you he did not ask if the food was ours or not he looked like he spent more time out back smoking pot more then doing his job The lady left then after 10 minutes she comes back instead of making our food again for the 3rd time they just gave it to us. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! The so called “manger” was very rude! She not once brought herself to the counter to even apologize for the mistake. Now the fact is after all this once I got the food it wasn’t even right nothing was on our food how we ordered it and the so called manager “Rosie” was the one to make it? Nah this is not how a business is run! And I hope you decently feel ashamed to have people like this working here.

Absolutely amazing staff food and atmosphere. It feels like your family there. I go there twice a week absolutely love it highly recommend plus the manager Miss Carol is an absolute godsend. She is absolutely amazing. Love her to death so if you want good food, good people and awesome service. Definitely check out Whataburger in Dawsonville, Georgia.

They have the best burgers and fries. I also lovd their sweet tea. The staff are amazing, especially Candace and Jennifer. Not only are they nice, but they remember customers names.

The burger quality increased, but was messy in the wrapper, and slightly overloaded with catchup and mustard. The initial fries were cold and replaced with fresh and much better. The staff was friendly, a bit overwhelmed, but provided good customer service. Table, benches, and bathroom need some focus. Not a good customer service position, when they have to clean. Overall score increased to 4.0.

Worst Whataburger experience I have ever had and I grew up in Texas where Whataburger is on every corner. Myself and my wife stopped to eat while we were passing through since we do not have a Whataburger near us in South GA. We ordered and sat down. Food came and I asked for ketchup. The employee said they were out and then I asked if our burgers had ketchup on them as ordered. He said he used all the ketchup on our burgers. I asked if they had more in the back and he asked the cook to look. The cook found another bag and gave it to the employee. I asked if I could get a small bowl of ketchup. The employee grabbed the bottle from the cooks station and bag of ketchup and went around the corner out of sight. A couple of minutes went by and he reappeared to put the full bottle on the cooking station and then went around corner again without giving me any ketchup. I then asked the lady employee if I could get some of the ketchup and she finally gave me some. Went and sat back down with wife to eat and took a bite of the burger and it was cold as ice, my wife’s was also. I then tried a fry and couldn’t eat them because they had way to much salt on them and couldn’t eat them. We through away our meal and left. Sad that is representing the Whataburger brand. I know about representing a Brad out of Texas because I am a franchise owner of a different company out of Texas in South GA.

Actually pretty decent. I went to a Whataburger in TX because everyone was singing it’s praises. It wasn’t i pressive. I gave it a second try when another restaurant had too long of a wait nearby. Pleasantly surprised. The burgers were good. The shakes were fine. I got a malt and it just tasted like a regular chocolate shake. The guys liked their Dr Pepper Blackberry shakes. Service was great.

I stopped by this Whataburger recently and had one of the best experiences I’ve had at any fast-food spot. The food came out hot, fresh, and exactly how I ordered it, but what really stood out was the service. I met a manager named Matt, and he was genuinely on top of everything—super friendly, attentive, and you could tell he really cared about the customers and the team. The place was clean, the vibes were good, and it felt like the kind of location that actually takes pride in what they do.

Definitely coming back. Managers like Matt make all the difference.

Candis was, by far, the best drive thru person ever on the order voice box by listening, asking the right questions and with a clear and excellently cheerful personality!! It gave us the confidence our order would be correct and uplifted our day like no other fast food person ever has. And we drive through a lot.

This is a very nice and clean location. Seems brand new, really. The buger was made fresh, and the chicken nuggets were good for the kids. Staff interactions were friendly and helpful. We will stop by again.
