Social Profile:

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

My son wanted Whataburger for his birthday breakfast- on our trip home to FL where we do not have Whataburger anywhere near us. GPS didn’t put us to arrive until 11am so I called. There was no answer but Tyrese, the manager working this morning called me back. I explained and he said he would make sure our son got his birthday breakfast. It was cooked to perfection and our birthday boy got his favorite breakfast. Thank you, Tyrese for going out of your way for this. It’s the simple acts of kindness like this that brings the biggest smiles and memories! We will be back when we are back in GA. Thank you!

Very disappointed. I tried to give them another chance but it was just as bad as the first.
I am allergic to both tomatoes and onions, and I don’t like mustard. I ordered my burger without those three ingredients. I get home and I find those three ingredients in my burger yet again.

2nd time this new location. First time it had just opened and food was just ok. This time, it is not busy but I waited 10 minutes after ordering for food I know it’s tough sometimes when it’s slow. I really like WB, hope this location figures it out. Staff very friendly. Store very clean. Gave me cookie for wait.

Long wait; food got too toasted almost burnt. Shakes and fries were decent. Charged a double but got a single. Order was not accurate. Missed two items as well. During my dine in experience witness 2 more individuals have their order accuracy fall. Wanted to give it a try. Workers are nice but need to pay more attention with communication and accuracy. Missing ingredients on our burgers first time trying here and likely last. We’ll give another chance another location instead.

I’m sorry but there was nobody ahead of me in line and I just ordered a patty melt and another burger and waited 15 minutes or more. I’ve stopped ordering onion rings because the grease tastes like they don’t change their oil.

The person who served me was nice and the burgers tasted good but I don’t know if it’s worth the frustration.

I really hope that the person who’s running that place improves the experience cuz I’d hate to see them go out of business.

I’ve ordered from this location a couple times, and up until now, it’s been a pretty decent experience and the food has been great. However, today, I ordered a kid’s meal for my little sister (a burger w/ fries and orange Fanta for a drink), and almost an hour later, she broke out in hives, started itching, and was turning red. Thankfully she didn’t have trouble breathing or swallowing, but it’s still very concerning when she’s never had an allergic reaction to Whataburger’s food before today.

I don’t know who was handling the food, but I would seriously advise that the restaurant pays closer attention to how it’s being prepared and ensure there are no allergens nearby. It’s important to take people’s health into consideration.

As someone who is from Texas this place give Whataburger a bad name. 30 minutes for 2 Hamburgers and FF. Then they forget the drinks and spicy ketchup. Something has to change or yall can close the doors now. Jorge the manager doesn’t even know what’s going on, employees in the back arguing. I’ll just wait until I visit my family in TX once a year before I ever go here again.

it’s honestly ridiculous how long it takes to get your food here. i work as a manger at a fast food place and it’s unbelievable that it takes this long for even a simple burger. they truly need to start over with this location and bring in new staff.

staff is extremely rude, and i understand having a hard time working fast food, especially dealing with rude customers, but it doesn’t take much to put effort into not being straight faced with an attitude when a customer says please and thank
you.

Of the three times that I have been here so far, you would think that it would look a lot cleaner on the inside and outside of the restaurant. This location looks like it’s been open for a decade. You’ll see what I’m talking about in the pictures I’m going to post with this review. Staff is great but management really needs to pull it together. I was in here earlier picking up a doordash and was given the wrong person’s food. If I had delivered that order, it would have come out of my pocket and I would have had to redeliver the food. Not fair to the customer and the dasher.

And please change the fryer grease more often. The onion rings taste nasty after a certain time of day.

On top that of now I’ve been waiting for 10 minutes for my food and still not have received my food.

Cold burger. Unmelted Cheese. Very little toppings. No additional toppings I requested.

Took my mom out for lunch. Ordered Whataburger w/ chs & extra pickles all the way, same with the Whataburger Jr. Normal wait time under 10 minutes. Burgers came cold, cheese unmelted with no extra pickles I asked for & VERY LITTLE toppings (lettuce, onions etc) compared to every other Whataburger of the many burgers & locations I order – & just in general. The burgers were even smaller & skinnier than usual as well, buns were good but bigger than the patties.

1st time at this Whataburger location & wont be going back. Saw it had poor reviews but decided to go anyways since I wasn’t near my usual Whataburger off of Chastain Rd.

Staff was friendly enough. Trash was filled to the brim but otherwise fairly clean. Burgers were very sub par, but the fries & chocolate shake were good.
