Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I am allergic to both tomatoes and onions, and I don’t like mustard. I ordered my burger without those three ingredients. I get home and I find those three ingredients in my burger yet again.
The person who served me was nice and the burgers tasted good but I don’t know if it’s worth the frustration.
I really hope that the person who’s running that place improves the experience cuz I’d hate to see them go out of business.
I don’t know who was handling the food, but I would seriously advise that the restaurant pays closer attention to how it’s being prepared and ensure there are no allergens nearby. It’s important to take people’s health into consideration.
staff is extremely rude, and i understand having a hard time working fast food, especially dealing with rude customers, but it doesn’t take much to put effort into not being straight faced with an attitude when a customer says please and thank
you.
And please change the fryer grease more often. The onion rings taste nasty after a certain time of day.
On top that of now I’ve been waiting for 10 minutes for my food and still not have received my food.
Took my mom out for lunch. Ordered Whataburger w/ chs & extra pickles all the way, same with the Whataburger Jr. Normal wait time under 10 minutes. Burgers came cold, cheese unmelted with no extra pickles I asked for & VERY LITTLE toppings (lettuce, onions etc) compared to every other Whataburger of the many burgers & locations I order – & just in general. The burgers were even smaller & skinnier than usual as well, buns were good but bigger than the patties.
1st time at this Whataburger location & wont be going back. Saw it had poor reviews but decided to go anyways since I wasn’t near my usual Whataburger off of Chastain Rd.
Staff was friendly enough. Trash was filled to the brim but otherwise fairly clean. Burgers were very sub par, but the fries & chocolate shake were good.
