Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Tobi was incredibly professional, kind, and patient with us. It was my mom’s, my sister’s, and my first time trying Whataburger, and he went above and beyond to make the experience great. He took the time to explain the menu, walk us through the sauces, and break down the combo options, which we truly appreciated. From the moment we were greeted to placing our order, it was an absolute pleasure being helped by him.
After ordering, we sat down and I noticed Tobi consistently checking the dining area, making sure everything was clean and ready for the next guests. He is exactly the type of employee you want representing your brand—attentive, hardworking, and genuinely caring.
Now, the food! Everything was very fresh, perfectly seasoned, and the bread was soft and delicious. Great food paired with outstanding service. We will definitely be back—not only for the amazing food, but for the exceptional service we know we can count on

Visited this location on a Sunday around 11AM. I deducted one star for the wait, as it was at least 15 minutes from the time we ordered until we received our order; however, the customer service was great and everyone was friendly. The food was correct, hot, fresh, and delicious. My boys got breakfast sausage bowls, which I couldn’t snap a photo of before they dug into them, so needless to say they loved them. I got spicy chicken sandwich combo with fries. The spicy chicken sandwiches here are AMAZING. Probably my favorite spicy chick sandwich from any fast food establishment. The seasoning visibly goes to the inside of the chicken, is very moist and flavorful. Their jalapeño ranch is BOMB. I used that to dip my sandwich and my fries. We will most definitely be back!

The food was good, but the great customer service from Jaden is what made me write this review. He had a great and pleasant attitude and helped my family with everything we needed, as well as checking with other customers in the dining room. Im always happy with the service and the food. This is a pretty good consistent restaurant. How ever yesterday the #17th the person at the drive-in window asked if she could keep the change, my meal cost $ 32.00. I gave her a $ 50. I said no but she just stood there as if I would change my mind. I was shocked that someone was panhandleing while at work. I shouldn’t have to deal with this as I was worried she might mess with my food and the first time I felt that I needed to count my change. I hope it doesn’t happen again.

12/2025 – First time at this location. Order taken quickly and served shortly after we sat down with drinks. Only issue was wrong topping (mustard) added on burger with requested toppings of bbq, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato. Luckily, the bbq was stronger taste or would have taken back. Fries were crisp and hot. Employees pleasant and unusual they come to table with additional condiments on a tray (nice feature).

I love Whataburger so I was so excited that there was going to be one near me in Georgia. So, we decided to go the second week they had opened as well as a couple of weeks later. Here’s my opinion.
First of all, I understand that since they just opened, not everything is going to run smoothly. Ergo, I commend them in giving the best service they can. For example, when they forgot my junior burger, the manager worked with the staff to get my burger to me as fast as they can.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and what you would expect from a fast food place.
The reason why I give a 3 star rating is so they can improve on the food. Our fries were not hot, crunchy or fresh. It was very dry. The burger meat was not juicy or moist as it could be. These things can definitely be improved. I will go back a couple of months to try it again.

Absolutely a fun lunch. Jaden took our ordered. He was as attentive as a worker in an upscale restaurant! I was shocked. The other employees were doing great interacting with the customers.
I see good things ahead for Whataburger at this location and Jaden will be very successfully in his life because he put effort into his duties.

Do not waste your time or money.
I had the Bacon and cheese meal. My hubby the fish sandwich meal both with sweet tea at 1:45 pm on a Thursday.
Let me start with no sweet tea available.
The food is cold, even the burger and fish patty. Grilled buns, cold and mashed flat. The lettuce chucks were the size of the ketchup containers.When I reached red meat, I spit out what was in my mouth and stopped there. That was about the time my hubby hit ice cold fish. Fries were cool and unsalted. Got a brownie expecting a made brownie. It was a package brownie made elsewhere.
Used the kiosk to order. It asked me to put in a ‘tent’ number. There were no tents to get the number off of to put in. Asked the person at the counter, they replied, ‘On the left’ you mean that empty hanger? I asked back. He just shrugged.
Had to forcefully pull a huge ‘medium ‘ cup out of the self-serve holder. Huge medium same size as the large. Went to get ice… That did not happen very quickly as there was little ice coming out of the chute. There was only unsweetened tea
Asked about that, we can make you some in about 15 minutes.
The best.
Well, the ketchup is real without high fructose in it, and the fountain coke tasted like coke.
We will add this place to our list of no-go places.
