Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. Decided on a repeat visit 4 mo after an earlier visit.
During a Saturday afternoon between lunch and dinner time. Ordered the standard Whataburger with cheese, no other customizations, the Whataburger Jr and a large onion ring.
We ordered using the drive-through. Compared with our earlier visit, we found the service much improved. The staff were helpful in explaining the menu options, the wait was modest (5 min) and payment and food delivery was accomplished with a cheerful attitude. The food quality was distinctive in that the bread and the ingredients were fresh (especially the lettuce).
On this visit: Well done, Whataburger!
Overall, the experience was great and better than expected! This visit was partly nostalgia for me having been a fan for some time thanks to living in Texas some years ago.
We ordered the original and the patty melt as is (no customizations) along with onion rings via drive up. The ordering and delivery can be done in 2 lanes when it’s busy and was efficient and friendly on this occasion. Staff were helpful in explaining the menu when are raised.
Both sandwiches had the signature taste Whataburger is known for, so congratulations to the team! Looking forward to another visit soon.

The burger was just fine for a fast food joint and it’s open 24* which are both positives. The lettuce and onions on the burger were fresh cut not that freeze dried rehydrated mush you see in a lot of ff restaurants.
We stopped by on a Saturday evening and it was crazy busy. They were overstaffed, but it is a newly opened restaurant and I’m sure they will weed out the dead weight eventually.
They did offer regular ketchup and a spicy ketchup condiment. Love the spicy ketchup. It was excellent.

So this location opened not too long ago. I would have figured the kinks would have been worked out but they are not. To start with, they were getting almost every order wrong. People were coming into the restaurant after going through the drive through because their orders were wrong. I had to send my meal back twice because they got it wrong. Also, the food itself was overcooked and not tasty at all. My burger was squashed as well. The employees were trying to be helpful but seemed very uninterested in the customer experience.

It is fast food so as far as fast food goes it was ok. By that I mean it certainly is edible but with what I ordered, it was nothing special. What stands out is the service and friendly staff. I loved that they offered a grilled chicken sandwich. Again it was good but nothing special. The boneless buffalo “wings” were chicken nuggets with buffalo sauce poured on it. Truthfully, I actually enjoyed them. To me these were better than others I had eaten from actual places known for their wings. The strawberry shake was awesome! Maybe I just ordered the wrong sandwich. It was my first time going to Whatabuger (anywhere) and the menu has quite a few things to choose from. It is possible that one of the other sandwiches/bugars are more memorable. I wouldn’t hesitate going again and trying other items on there menu.

Best fast food burger by far!!! I lived in Texas for years and moved to Carolina about 4 years ago and have traveled in the past just to eat a Whataburger! This is obviously not my first trip to Whataburger but so excited to have it next to home! Carolina is blessed to have Whataburger and I will be here often! It’s open 24 hours as well and nothing is open late near us! Take advantage guys!!! The staff was very friendly as well!

The food was great, but moreso it’s really nice to see a fast food place where the employees actually seem to be in a good mood. Even when there was a small mistake in our order, they were quick, courteous and polite. (Notably, not just to me, but also to the employee who messed up.) I don’t know the name of the person running the shift, but whoever it was on feb 13 in the morning, you’re great at your job.
Also, corporate people, never remove the berry frosted from the menu. It’s wonderful.

Very satisfactory! Went in this morning as a dine-in guest and ordered an upsized combo meal. The food was of good quality and hot, service was prompt and courteous, and the atmosphere was clean and orderly. All I could ask for. Plenty of patrons in the place at the time as well. This made the dining room quite crowded, but I was able to obtain a seat to my liking. Thumbs up. I’d definitely recommend.

Food was delicious, quick and hot.. Only issue I had was with the 3 ladies at the “window” handing out the food. All 3 looked miserable, no smiles or warm welcome.
They didn’t give me my drink originally and I called out to them 3 times while they intentionally ignored me. Then when I finally got their attention gave me attitude and they weren’t even busy at the moment. I’m not typing this out of anger, it was my first time trying this place and the food was top tier the staff just seemed like they didn’t wanna be there.

I went on opening day, so happy to have a whataburger nearby. Food is great, although check your bag for everything you ordered. Been here 4 times since grand opening and each time the extra sauces we paid for aren’t in the bag and now have to ask or check before driving off.
