Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The drive thru was a nice experience as well.
I removed the raw patty and ate the rest.
Burger is maybe just a step above mcdonalds but costs more. Mcdonalds fries are better tho.
If it’s the only place open it ain’t bad but most other fast food places are better in my opinion.
Each time I’ve gone to this location it was clean and the staff were attentive and friendly.
On Sunday, December 7, 2025, around 7 p.m., I visited the Whataburger drive-through on Main Street in Duncan, SC, and ordered a Whataburger with cheese and all standard toppings, along with a small fry. After driving home—approximately 12 minutes—I discovered that my burger consisted only of a meat patty between two pieces of bread, and the fries were barely warm.
I drove back to the restaurant to have the order corrected. Upon entering, I observed employees laughing and playing around, and when I requested the burger I originally ordered, they continued laughing as if the mistake were a joke. I was told they would remake the burger and provide fresh fries. However, when I checked the “new” order before leaving, it was clear they had used the same burger patty and wrapping—now about 40 minutes old. Although the toppings had been added, the burger still had no cheese, and no fries were included.
When I asked to speak with a manager, they apologized, and an employee brought me a single slice of cheese in a to-go container. This resolution was unacceptable, so I requested a refund. Throughout the interaction, the employees continued laughing and joking. I left frustrated, having spent nearly 45 minutes driving back and forth and still without dinner.
This experience reflects extremely poor professionalism, customer service, and attention to basic order accuracy.
