When the chicken came out I thought it was going to be dry because it was pounded down, but it was so juicy inside and so crunchy outside! It was also perfectly dressed in the sauce, not drenched in it like other places. You can choose between Soy Garlic sauce or Spicy. I loved the heat on the Spicy! The chicken was accompanied by pickled radish or coleslaw. Both worked very well alongside the flavorful chicken! The takoyaki was also really good! Love the K-pop playing in the background, and the bold design as well!

We tried this place recently, and overall it was a mixed experience. The food tastes good, but I felt it was a bit pricey. I ordered the kimchi fried rice, and I absolutely loved it—generous portion and full of flavor. I also tried the Teokbokki, but it was a bit too liquidy and could have used more rice cakes. My daughter got the Bulgogi, and she thought there was more vegetables than meat, so she didn’t finish it.
It’s funny because we didn’t even order any of their Korean fried chicken, which is what they’re known for! I appreciated the touchscreen ordering system—it’s perfect if you prefer minimal human interaction—but I was surprised when they asked for a tip despite ordering this way.
Good food, decent portions, but a little expensive and some dishes could use better balance.

Portions were decently sized. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Fried rice was bar thing we ate. I got the “small drummies” and they were quite large. I’m not a spicy food guy, and the soy garlic was the only other option. Didn’t hit my taste buds like I’d hoped. Was a bit overhyped from what I’ve seen others say. Good, not great. $69 for 2 people (small drummies, pork buns, fried rice, 3 tacos and 2 drinks) was a bit on the expensive side unfortunately. I don’t plan to go out of my way to eat here.

The chicken wings here are incredible, the crispy exterior with the savory soy garlic or delicious spicy sauces cannot be passed up. If you like a little heat, go for the spicy sauce, it’s very manageable! The pickled radish is great for cooling off.
The drumstick combo comes with regular sized drumsticks with your standard flats and drummies, just so you are aware and don’t get surprised!
Lots of other options, japchae, tteokbokki, Korean corn dogs, all that can be made to your liking, served up in a clean, modern, fast-dining environment. Love having a small taste of Korea in central Iowa!

I ordered tteokbokki and the pork buns! Best tteokbokki I’ve ever had, and the buns were on FIRE!!! Absolutely amazing! Definitely will be one of my regular spots to stop for food on my trips to des moines.
I did order shrimp in my tteokbokki and it was missed and they corrected it by making me a whole new order. I even told them they didnt have to, and id take just the shrimp, but theh insisted.
Couldn’t ask for better service over a small miss.
Absolutely will be back!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very pleasantly surprised. Reminded me of Gyochon Chicken in Korea. The sauce did not make the skin soggy and it was very crispy. The sauce may feel a bit Americanized to Koreans but it was tasty and unique in itself. The meet was soft and bones looked fresh. Radish was just the way we liked it. Couple suggestions to make it even better is 1) for chicken katsu, please consider placing the sauce on the side. We ordered it for our kids but realized that the spicy sauce was already drizzled on top and we had to scrape it off. 2) I wonder making the consistency of the sauce bit thicker would make it even better. Otherwise, we had a wonderful lunch time.

This place came highly recommended to us. Sunday was going to be a lazy Sunday so we were definitely looking for a good place to get some delicious take out. Yes, this place is great. Kind of did a sample order, tried to get one of each thing on the menu. There were so many choices, so we picked the ones that “called” out to us.
We absolutely needed to try the pork buns.. those were probably our favorite dish on the menu. A close second were the Dak loaded fries. So delicious with a good bite! The regular fries are nice and crunchy with some sort of coating. Fried rice was good. They are generous with the added chicken. For me, tho, the fried rice is too heavy on the sesame oil. We also ordered the Korean chicken strips and fried chicken with coleslaw and did half and half of Soy garlic and Spicy flavors.
Spicy is spicy! The coleslaw is probably some of the best I’ve had. It’s so creamy and flavorful, just wish the side was a bit larger of a serving.
Atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and fast.

Great place! I was worried because the pictures of the portions in the menu look small, but they were big with what I got! I bought 8 chicken strips and they were fantastic and enough to feed myself and one other person!

Nice and clean, nice quiet environment for the most part, but we had to go orders. I love the fact this place does half and half flavors on chicken, and they have completely all drumsticks or wings in size small, medium, or large. The size I chose was a small, the flavor I picked for my drumsticks are soy and garlic and got seasoned fries…….. which by the way tasted like over cooked sour cream and onion chips without salt. My fiancé chose half and half, half spicy and half soy and garlic and 4 beef balgolgi buns. He said it was okay……… and give it a 9 for the chicken though, but the buns were just alright………. I definitely give the chicken a 9 as well and fries a 2 star so 4 star from both of us. I love the fact this place in a Great location where u can shop, eat more or buy alcohol at the brewery, or buy from the alcohol and tobacco shop. It’s lots of places to go to and also is close to the fresh gas station across the way. 🙂 Would we come here again?? you betcha we will and next time we’ll order for indoor and get more of a better full experience.

Amazing food!! The pork buns were soft, fluffy, juicy, deliciousness. Pot stickers were crispy, and the spicy sauce was sticky and full of flavor. The wings were insane! The breading on the chicken was crispy, and the soy garlic sauce coating was phenomenal! The only complaint was the limited drink options and the cooler was not very cold.
