Like previous reviewers I started eating at Bob’s when it was in a tiny store on a side street in Downtown Willoughby. It’s fame traveled by word of mouth. Yesterday I ordered a Bob’s Original.” My review: Disappointed. The sub was still wrapped in “butcher paper” a plus. The sandwich had little meat and no cheese. See attached picture. Obviously missing was Bob’s Ultimate Sub Sauce. Also attached find Bob’s early menu listing ingredients of the Ultimate Original Sub. Compare the ingredient list with the sub pictured in this review. Anyone know of a excellent sub shop like Bob’s was in the past?

We used to go to this place back when they were in dtw. The food is awful now. I ordered. Club sub. I had barely any turkey, no bacon at all, no cheese, but loaded with onions.

My husband ordered a meatball sub with typical cheese and meatballs. cheese is overloaded with dry basil seasoning.

We also ordered a margarita pizza. It’s not fresh ingredients. Only chopped tomatoes and dried basil. Gross.

The mozzarella sticks were cold.

This place does subs right. Lettuce on the bottom not on top. Generous amount of deli meat. Cripsy bread with a distinctive crunch and soft chewy center. I got the large ultimate spicy Italian. I ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture of the sandwich. Guess I’ll have to go back and get another!!!!

I do not like leaving low reviews, but this establishment has changed so drastically since early last year.
We were patrons of THE original Bob’s when it was in downtown Willoughby. We live far west (nearly an hour away) and would continue to drive out even after Pizza Booyah took over.
Last night was the third time I’d been here since early ’23. The first time, in early spring, the subs were amazing as usual. We returned in the summer and the portions had shrunk and the signature pepper blend was replaced by banana peppers.
The final straw was last night’s sandwiches. There was so little meat and cheese that it was unacceptable. The portions were like what you’d see in a gas station kid’s meal sub.
I’d read about new ownership and if that’s the case, then maybe they’ll view this as a call to return to the subs that we’ve known for over a decade from Pizza Booyah.

Not only is this THE BEST sandwich shop I have ever had. This place is like the Phoenix of restraunts. Just when you think they have been forced to close, it pops back up better than ever!

If you want a great sub sandwich or great pizza, this is the place to go. Located across from ald’s and the fire station on Euclid Ave in Willoughby ohio. If you are from the area, you probably remember “what about Bob’s. They had the best sub on the crusty bread. They still do. The only thing I found wrong is that I asked for no hot peppers and they put them on. This just a minor thing because their sub was awesome. It’s a small business that could your help so stop by and enjoy their food.

The subs here were OK , similar to Dave’s cosmic subs. The consistency of the way the subs were made doesn’t match up. One time my girlfriend got a veggie sub and the mushrooms and onions were sauteed and this time she went they were raw. They say the bread has no eggs and they say the sub sauce contains no cheese but I’m suspicious of it as it tastes like Caesar dressing. Going to ask them again next time I go to make sure and this time pitch it as an allergen, people are more receptive to that rather than saying ‘vegan’. The value of the subs is fantastic, it was 4.99 for a foot long sub which is stuff full of what you order. Grab napkins, its a bit of a messy meal if its overly stuffed. Fries are greasygross.

Best subs on Earth. Fair prices and fully loaded hoagies. Pizza is awesome too. Wrap are not my thing but they are loaded as well. Fresh salads as well. Great garlic italian dressing.

The Subs are delicious. Bread is firm, but great compliment to the sandwich which comes loaded! The spicy Italian was top notch and in Large is very very filling.

I told told him oh ok because I only go to pizza booyah any way . he started to ask me about the pizza and the quality of the food.when I was done explain it all to him he was shocked .but hay that’s life see you guys tomorrow. Keep up the good work.
