My family was in town visiting and we needed a quick lunch. Food was fast, high quality, and delicious. We had the bacon wrapped shrimp, catfish, wharf shrimp, garlic green beans, collard greens, and fries. Sooooo good!

It was okay. We came to the area for a family outing but pass this place all the time going to and from Birmingham. The establishment is atleast cleanly. The food wasn’t that great. My catfish did taste really fresh, but it could’ve gone with more seasoning. The sweet potato fries tasted like they weren’t done (still hard inside). The red beans and rice were pretty decent. The crab cake was really mushy. Daughter liked her catfish burger, and husband enjoyed his shrimp.

We ate here driving through on a whim. We were super impressed. The steak was actually better than a steak at Longhorn and the other food was really good. Servers were constantly checking on us and the place was clean. Wish there was one of these in my town.

This is going to sound crazy but I’m going to say it anyways. The gouda grits and collard greens were as good as any top tier restaurant I’ve ever been to…I know right. Next was the blackened mahi-mahi. The fish itself was good but the bread was toasted to nothing short of AMAZING flaky, crusty golden brown. Sides 10/10. Mahi po’boy 8/10. For desert was an interesting spin on Banana pudding 8/10. As with all Banana pudding I want my nilla wafers to be crispy. To achieve this it pretty much has to be made to order. Overall this place is a solid 9!!! They have lunch specials and the menu is online. They also have a selection of beer. Fast, friendly service and why not sit outside it’s a beautiful day. Enjoy.

Wow! I totally underestimated this place. The food was exceptional. Quite possibly better than most “fancy seafood” restaurants. Blackened Mahi was very good, collard greens were top notch, hush puppies were perfect, red beans/rice tasty…..carrot cake-do not pass it up!!!

Amazing seafood at a reasonable price. This is not your typical sit down seafood restaurant. When you enter you go to the left to the ordering counter to place your order, pay and then take a seat…the staff will take it from there. We ordered the Crispy Snapper Entree (with Cole Slaw and Fries) and the Crispy Shrimp Entree (with Red Beans & Rice and Gouda Cheese Grits). Everything was cooked perfectly and not over-salted. Serving sizes were good for the price and the staff was friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Alexander City.

Absolutely amazing food, atmosphere, and the people who work there are top notch. We were greeted with a smile, our appetizers and food were hot and fresh and it was just an all around wonderful experience. 10/10 would definitely recommend you stop and eat here.

Hannah and Gabby absolutely crushed it with their friendly, top-notch service! The food was insanely fresh, bursting with flavor, and the portions were no joke — you definitely get your money’s worth. Every bite was worth it. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time!

The food is good, the service is great, and the atmosphere feels more like sitting in a booth at a KFC. Exorbitant prices for barely above average food is not what I expected. I thought it would be more quaint, and not quite as expensive as it was. Definitely not worth the price of admission.

They need a new cook. All I’m going to say is, it tastes like it looks! No one checked on me probably because I was the only black person seated in the restaurant. It was packed and all the other tables were checked on around me. I felt so out of place. No worries I won’t be coming back. Spending $29 on a meal that tastes like it should be free is diabolical.
