Avoid the Fried Oyster Basket. It has 6 medium-ish size oysters; not 8 as advertised. Shortchanged by one I chalk up to error. By two, it’s intentional portion downsizing. Instead go for the Aunt Lou’s Crab cake and shrimp for $10 more (30%) more. The green beans are fresh and the grits and cheese were really good.
The coconut cake was good but nothing to write home about.

Came in on a Friday night, and Jessica was our server. She was friendly and took great care of us & she was extremely knowledgeable about all the menu items! The outside patio seating view was amazing, and the food was delicious. There was someone singing & playing guitar downstairs, and it was nice. I’m sure a piece of cake would have been a great way to finish our meal, (showcased inside) but we were so full! Food portions were large, and the beers were frosty cold! The oysters Rockefeller were perfectly prepared! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely exceptional experience. We had the Wharf Fried Platter and the Chicken Fried Steak. So much better than some other local places that charge an additional 18% just to sit down. The food was amazing, and the view was stunning. We’re locals and love staying away from tourists… this is the place!

We visited Wharf 850 on a Friday night in August. We were able to get a table right away which was a nice surprise during the season. The atmosphere here is so nice and relaxing. We chose to sit outside on the deck and enjoy the evening watching the sunset and the nice breeze coming off the water. Our waitress (I didn’t catch her name) was so friendly and attentive making sure we had everything we needed and that it was up to standard.
We did order some drinks from the bar and honestly they were not great at all and tasted only of club soda and lime. When we mentioned this to our waitress she took the drinks off the tab and was very friendly about it.
We ordered our favorite dish (the stuffed shrimp) and it left a lot to be desired. Definitely not as good as other times.
Overall we enjoyed our time there because the weather was nice and we love to sit outside on the water. Since we have to come over from Destin to eat here, it will probably be a while before we come back. Hopefully next time it will be better.

The food was delicious. I went with a group of ladies and we didn’t have any issues with getting our food. Everything came out at a good time and we enjoyed it. Our waiter was really good as well and he handled everything nicely. Their desserts looked really good but I was too stuffed to get any. Also, the restaurant is on the water.

The view here is second to none and our server handled a table of almost 20 like a champion. My bronzed chicken was more blackened but that’s okay. Everything I ordered was perfect and the crab dip was pretty good. They have an outdoor bar for late night drinking as well and overall was a good experience.

Pleasantly surprised! This was our first time eating here, and the food was excellent! Boiled seafood were well seasoned, as they should be, redfish cooked to perfection, and the homemade coconut cake was the best. I did find the Oyster Rockefeller a little on the bland side, but everything else was excellent! We will definitely be back, when in the area.

Our experience was amazing! Our server, Michael, was absolutely fantastic! We noticed that all customers were treated so well & it seemed like all staff was going above & beyond to make sure everyone was attended to timely & with a smile! We will definitely be going back. It’s obvious the owners work well with their staff.
