There’s a reason why sometimes reviews that are left aren’t true. I read that if it’s a party of 5 or more that you wouldn’t be able to sit outside , that was false! I had a 1pm reservation, party of 5 for Sunday brunch. We were seated immediately and enjoyed great food outside! Everything was delicious. We had lemon ricotta stuffed French toast , wings, the beef lettuce wraps and the chicken sandwiches. I truly enjoyed my birthday brunch. The view is gorgeous! I look forward to going back!

We first discovered this restaurant last year on our anniversary. My husband knows that I really enjoy unique and well presented food. We went back again this year and I have to say WOW! They do not disappoint! The food was incredible. We had the burrata as an appetizer which was fabulous! It could have used a little more crostini for spreading and dipping. I’m sure they would have brought more if asked. I had the scallops with the cheesy grits; 10+. My husband had the best short ribs I have ever tasted in my life. I love this place so much I wish we lived closer! We told them it was our anniversary and they really went the extra mile! Love the atmosphere, the staff and most of all the food! You will not be disappointed!

Had our father’s 70th at their venue this past weekend. Whalers venue room was a gargantuan, modernly updated room that had an incredible view of the South Bay of Long Island that easily accommodated 60+ people. The food was absolutely delicious, steak cooked perfectly! The bartenders drinks were awesome! The waitstaff were extremely attentive and courteous. I cannot give enough thanks to Nikki, the event manager, for helping us book the event with them. Between her extreme patience, and diligence to organize the event, Whalers made it possible for us to have a very wonderful party! Will recommend this venue to anyone!! Thank you guys so much!!!!

The atmosphere was clean and inviting. The service was excellent! Our appetizer was the whipped feta served with grilled naan. It was very delicious, but I believe red pepper flakes were sprinkled on it, which made it a little too spicy. It’s not listed in the description, so if you don’t want spicy/hot, I would request it not be added. We had the lobster roll and the shrimp pappardelle!! Both were excellent! The pappardelle was thin and cooked perfectly. We definitely would return!

Fantastic experience at this restaurant! Beautiful setting for photos, amazing staff, and incredible food. The ceviche was a highlight, and we loved sharing appetizers and desserts. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their delicious menu!

Solid choice! We have been wanting to check this place out for a while and glad we did! The food was pretty good with a stunning view and atmosphere. I would say the menu could offer a bit more but being that we came towards the end of the summer season, it may have contributed to the menu. The service was great, very friend and attentive staff!

The food is delicious! We ordered the “Surf and Turf”, the coconut crusted cod and finally as a dessert, the bread pudding. The plates are well served and the presentation is good.
The cod comes with a really hot sauce, so I suggest you order it as a side in order to avoid suffering . The pudding is warm and tasty. I hope you can have a nice experience there as we did and enjoy the peaceful view.

Everything was excellent! We had a beautiful table overlooking the Great South Bay, we always make sure we get a seat upstairs when available. All the food was amazing. I personally got the lobster avocado toast which was Great! Of course I had to try a little bit of everyone’s meal. The ribeye steak and eggs and whalers eggs Benedict were also wonderful. The wait staff were all very attentive and helpful, they were able to answer any questions we had about the menu as well. Overall, I would say this is one of my favorite restaurants around and I always recommend people to come for brunch and dinner. Also, I cannot forget to say thank you to Kelly for giving us a great table!

The place is definitely inviting and has a wonderful atmosphere. Cocktails were great, food even better.
Jenifer the manager/owner came to our table and greeted us. She did that with all the customers. That was really impressive.
Cue the server did his best but you can tell he had too much to handle. He made a few errors that needed to be corrected.
They definitely need more servers especially on a Saturday night.

We had a fantastic experience at Whalers. Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff was super friendly! I had the burrata salad and the tuna poke – both were so tasty. The raw bar selection is nice too. And they have a spicy watermelon margarita that is perfect! They have a nice outdoor deck with distanced seating too.
