I got a bag of the regular pretzel bits & a bag of the cinnamon & sugar bits. They weren’t that great & they were even less great the time before this visit. The pretzels were over cooked & dry. Not enough butter on them. I like to eat the leftovers the next day, but not this batch. Even after I warmed them up a little bit, they just weren’t very good. The staff are definitely working hard, but it seems like there are issues with consistency. Maybe more training for everyone or spot checks by the owner. I think somebody should be checking the quality of the food they are putting out. And I wouldn’t be coming down on the teenage kids that are working for you. I think they are doing their best. Whomever is in charge here though, must have chosen to ignore their reviews. They arent great. It wouldn’t take much though & you could be Awesome! Keep at it.

I am a huge fan of Wetzel pretzel. Back when I lived in California on the weekends I would drive to the further away mall about 45 minutes away just to go get Wetzel because the closer Mall didn’t have it. I’ve been to this location five times I’ve never actually shopped at the Walmart for groceries but I specifically went inside to go to the Wetzel. Five out of five times I’ve been served old cold stale hard pretzels. I always get the exact same Sultan Wetzel bites with cheese. I’ve kind of lost my appetite for Wetzel because of this location every once in a while I’ll still drive about a half hour to go get it on a weekend at a father away location if I don’t work or have the time.

I visit the Wetzel Pretzel store every time I go to Walmart in Queen Creek, AZ which is about once or twice a month. I am so tired of them being out of the cheesy dog bites and then giving me a 45 minute wait! My neighbor confirmed the same issue! People, managers, team leads or whoever is in charge… do your job! I mean we’re talking about a little bit of dough (but you pay A LOT of dough for it) and some little weenies and butter. How hard is it to keep at least 2 in stock ready to sell??? I know this isn’t necessarily a Walmart issue but they should make sure that whomever is using their space inside the store is doing a satisfactory job at the very least.

Always get fast service here. Pretzels are being made constantly… Super soft and delicious. All employees have face masks, use gloves and thongs!

I needed to drop a quick note here to leave some praise for this store and the manager Valerie. About three or four weeks ago I had a reception for my daughter’s wedding. Not a very big affair, but My daughter asked for Wetzel‘s pretzels to be at the reception. I got in contact with Valerie, after speaking with some of the employees in the store in Walmart, and Valerie got with me right away! She was professional, great communication, I felt like she was catering to a much more expensive order than it really was.
Valerie sent me pictures when I asked, answered my questions, and was texting me when she wasn’t even at work! I certainly wouldn’t expect that kind of service, but I can tell you you absolutely need to keep her around.
Of course, the order was perfect, ready on time, and everyone at the reception loved them. Kudos to the employees in the store who are always eager to help me, and did such a great job on the order.

Young lady at register was extremely sweet, and easy to talk to.

Visited the Queen Creek location on 3/27/2022 in the afternoon. Ordered a Pretzel Dog with cheese and a Medium Dr. Pepper. The total of this order was $17.44. I was flabbergasted and asked the teenager standing in front of me how much each item was and how it could come to that much. The pretzel dogs were $7.99 but she could not tell me how much a medium drink was. According to my receipt my medium Dr. Pepper was $8.08 before tax. I tried to explain to the young employees there is NO way a medium soda could cost this much. Of course I got a deer in the headlight look from employee # 2573 and the other youngster she called over to help was clueless as well. They basically said it was correct because the cash register said so. I called this location yesterday afternoon and the manager had left for the day. I have tried calling numerous times today during the time the manager is supposed to be there and the phone just rings. Unbelievable – needless to say I will never eat Wetzel’s again and will stick with Auntie Anne’s Pretzels going forward.

Absolutely horrible customer service at this location. Never dealt with a more rude manager somewhere. Was using a coupon for a free pretzel (earned from purchasing so many pretzels previously) and decided to use it for the bitz instead of a pretzel because I realized the coupon would work for any item. Manager told me she already put the code into the system and that she had cancelled my order to change the item so there was nothing she could do to redeem the free one anymore. Instead of honoring the free item she left me standing at the register, moved the the other register and started helping other customers. Told me at that point I would just need to pay full price if I still wanted the pretzel. Free pretzel coupon never refreshed on my app even though it was never technically redeemed because the order was cancelled. Not really worried about the cost of the pretzel but more the principle that the manager was well aware I had earned a free one and refused to just honor it because of a system glitch.

Delicious pretzels, dog bites and cheese bites when fresh. Be warned, these snacks cost as much as a meal at a sit down restaurant, so be prepared to spend $20 for a couple of items.
I ordered 2 order of dog bites, but they only had 1 available for purchase?
Customer service is a cold experience with 1 employee in particular at this location. The other employees are always friendly.

Pretzels are inconsistent in their tenderness and flavor.
I have read the previous reviews and see that people commented that this location stops making pretzels at a certain time – so your’re stuck with old ones if it’s close to 8/830pm (depending on the day of the week – they close at 8pm or 830pm.) In the past, if we’re at WalMart towards the last hour of the store’s operation, the manager will offer us BOGO 1/2 off…so they don’t have to trash as many leftovers. We have five kids still at home and love it when that timing works out. Unfortunately, lots of new staff there and they don’t offer those specials apparently – one line employee told us so. I asked to speak with the manager, but was told that person was unavailable. You have to ‘ask’ for the manager’s special.
