Upon walking up to order there were 7 employees standing there chatting doing NOTHING. SEVEN! There were no pretzels already made. No pretzel dogs made. Actually nothing available except for their SAUCES. Except mustard. No mustard either. We ordered pretzel dogs and a guy started prepping them so we waited quite some time. Our drinks were served to us with zero ice. Asked for ice and was told there wasn’t any. And they might have some left over ice in the back… Do you know what warm Pepsi tastes like? It tastes like the ambition the 7 employees working there….

Asked for food, it wasn’t ready, waited, not served and told to get to the back of the line after waiting in line. Wanted pretzels and left without. Please work on your customer service.

Twice the price of wendy’s at a quarter of the value. ‘wetzel dogs’ looks like they were wrapped in melted sadness, tasted like twice used bar brand hotdogs. ‘wetzel bits’ were just disappointing in general. Dip cup was less than half full. Most items were not yet available/made at 1pm. It’s like they source their food from a McDonalds dumpster. Register worker seemed quite angry, refused to speak the entire experience.

We visited both locations in the mall to find neither one had many items prepped. When the youngest kids with us were trying to figure out what they wanted from the limited options, the cashier made the comment that we needed to hurry up.
We went and ate our items and on our way past again, we said to have a good day. An employee from the other location was now downstairs and he yelled “Excuse me, you better keep walking,” across the mall.
Very unprofessional for sure.

Coincidentally, this place doesn’t have their prices posted anywhere, and I can see why. If they did they’d probably have even fewer customers than they already do. Stopped in and grabbed a small bag of pretzel bites and a tiny container of Cheddar cheese for dipping. Total was $10.98. Way overpriced for what you get (it’s basically bread dough). They tasted okay, at best, kinda doughy, IMHO. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend them to others. 🙁

Went to order a Wetzel dog, and was told they were fresh out so I asked for a regular pretzel instead. Cashier says they’re out of those too. The only thing left’s the pizza pretzels. I order one, and I’m handed 2 pretzels, a pizza one and the regular, the one I was told they didn’t have. I pay for both because I didn’t want to argue with the Cashier, who was oddly smug, passive aggressive, and didn’t even look at me. Felt like I was the one being an inconvenience.
Pretzels tasted good, though.

Walked up already knowing I’d have to pay $5 just to share a pretzel with my 5 year old daughter. But that’s fine. It’s at the mall and it’s something special she wants. Then even though it’s 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon on a Saturday they don’t have any pretzels made and don’t make it sound like there’s an option to make more. So instead they Point me towards some pretzel bites which are just cut up pieces of pretzels put in a bag and you have to pay $7.50 for them. Yes, they’re not capable of making new pretzels, so I wonder how fresh these are… but regardless I just order some to keep the happiness going of the day. Then when I’m going to pay it’s nearly $10 and I reiterate that we just needed a cup of water. She says yeah I have to charge you $2 for that. That leads me to Simply reply “no you don’t because I’m not buying anything from an establishment that charges $2 for a cup of water” and scoop my little girl up and walk away having to make up a different plan. Lousy nonsense.

Wetzel’s Pretzels has a great selection of freshly baked pretzels. I always grab one or two (don’t tell my diet on me) on my way through the mall. Now with two conveniently place locations (upstairs and downstairs) the options of when and where I get my pretzel in the mall are about endless. Having a freshly baked pretzel really helps improve my overall experience at the mall. The associates are always friendly and provide great service. The warmer they use always keeps the pretzels warm and fresh. I have seen them rotate them in and out so you are always guaranteed a fresh pretzel. I do how however wish they offered delivery or catering orders. If this service was provide I could get my pretzel fix any time of the day.
